Chapter 1

It all started in Alma, Michigan.  Where I was born, Gratiet County.  Born to the name of Melody Jade Summer's on February 14th 1989. I was raised in Harrison, Michigan surrounded by a family that misunderstands me.  One mother, one father, two brothers, and a outcast.  I have dirty dishwater blonde hair that gets darker in the winter, and lighter in the summer.  Brown, almond shaped eyes that always have a black kohl surrounding them, full pinkish toned lips, an a chubby baby face.  I'm not skinny that's for Damn sure.  I'm more than average. Size 14 jeans, XL shirt size.  Same with my height I am a solid 5 feet and 9 inches.  My weight, well that's a secret you will never know.  I think I carry myself well.  Anyway enough about how I look,  let's get into more deeper details about me.  Well let's start of with the basics an work our way up, shall we. My looks I hope you know already.  Well my favorite colors are blue, purple, and black. Music, it's a variety of hardcore metal, rock, Gothic metal, etc. I have respect for all types of music and musicians, it's just some of them are not my cup of tea.  I do like one rapper and one only Eminem. Well let's just say he is a inspiration to me.  Let's get even further.

My personality... I'm quite, keep to myself mostly. I just don't like being social.  I have an anger problem (developed from family) the littlest things set me off the deep end.  I went to college to get my nursing degree. I succeeded. There is one thing I love, helping people. I now live in Detroit, Michigan. In a small three bedroom, two baths, small livingroom, small kitchen, petite backyard, and a garage.  I have a small black 2003 Pontiac Grand Am, it gets me around. I have two dogs and a cat. My dogs names are Salem(Female, husky, 2 years old.)  and Manson( Female, German Shepard, 1 years old). My cat well she is a calico named Thorn.  I love my animals, they mean the world to me.  I also have a boyfriend. His name is Chris Carter.  We have been together for a year. We met at the hospital, I was the nurse assigned to him. Well we hit it off. 

Present day: Saturday, October 3rd, 2010

I had the day off, so I am spending the day walking down the busy streets of Detroit, listening to my iPod. I am currently listening to "If I had a Heart" by Fever Ray. I enjoy this type of music, it relaxes me, especially in the chilly fall weather. I am wearing black non see through leggings with my combat boots, and a CMU hoodie. My hair up in a classy looking bun. I was walking past the Royal Oak Theater, I decided to stop and read the list of people performing in the near future. As my eyes hidden behind glasses, scrolled down the list of many names they stopped on one name...

I decided to tell Chris about the concert, so I called him walking into a small cafè. I walked up to the counter ordering a small coffee. I took a seat next to a window looking out into the car infested streets. Chris finally answered his phone....

"Hey babe." Chris answered breathlessly. "I just got done running on the treadmill. Sorry I didn't answer right away. What do you need?"

"Well I was just calling to tell you I went for a walk around town today,  an I happened to walk by Royal Oak and glanced at the performances list.  I seen Eminems name on the list,  an I was thinking we could go and see him together?"

"Hmm. Um sure babe. When is it?"

"October 20th, at 8:00 pm." I answered taking a sip of my coffee.

"OK if that's all I would like to finish here at the gym. Dinner still tonight, your place?"

"Yes, want anything specific?" I asked.

"Surprise me? Well I'm gonna go. Love you, bye." he said, hanging up before I could reply. He has been very distant lately. I stood up from the seat an made my way home...
