Chapter 8: I'll stay by you and protect you

Chapter 8 is here~ I don't own junjou romantica at all~ but that's fine~~ anyway let the chapter start!

Misaki POV

I felt heavy as I fluttered my eyes open, I looked around confused, wondering why I was in me and Usagi's bed.

Wasn't I talking to him just now?....

I then remembered that Usagi had given me sleeping medication, I looked at the clock and smiled slightly. It seemed like I had slept for a few hours without any dreams.

I guess the medicine that dr. Kusama prescribed me worked... Anyway, where's Usagi?

I got up from the bed and stretched, I then walked over to the study room to see if my silver haired lover had decided to do some of his work while I slept.

I smiled as I saw Usagi typing away on his laptop when I peeked through the doorway, I was glad that my silver haired lover had actually decided to do his work.

Aikawa will be happy if Usagi finishes, I should leave and go do something so Usagi doesn't know I'm awake.... He'd probably ditch his work.

I crept away from the study room and went to my own room, I grabbed a volume of my favourite manga The Kan and began to read it for a bit.

"Misaki"

I jumped when I heard my name, I glared, slightly annoyed at my silver haired lover who had startled me.

Baka don't sneak up on people!

Usagi chuckled then walked over to ruffle my hair.

"Sorry for scaring you Misaki, you okay?"

Usagi said softly, his lavender eyes filled with kindness. I nodded slowly, I felt fine at the moment, probably thanks to the proper sleep I had gotten.

"You sleep well?"

There was a hint of concern that was laced within his kind voice, I smiled at how kind Usagi was and nodded once more.

"I'm glad...."

Cool and gentle hands cupped my face as I was brought closer to Usagi. I blushed slightly at the closeness of my lover's face.

Baka.... Why are you acting all weird?

"Misaki, please tell me anything that's bugging you from now on"

I frowned, I didn't like that idea because then I would be causing Usagi even more problems.

If I tell Usagi whenever something's bugging me, it may end up causing Usagi more problems...

"Misaki.... Please? It would put me more at ease..."

I tried to avert my gaze from my lover's kind lavender eyes but I couldn't, it just drew me in.

"Misaki...."

I looked at my silver haired lover in surprise, the slight unease and desperation in his voice was easy to notice.

Usagi.... You're worrying too much.... Is it because I'm not telling you my troubles?... Then maybe if I do you'll stop worrying and be more at ease.

I smiled at Usagi before I slipped my face out of his gentle hold and leaned against his broad chest.

I'm sorry... I didn't realize that before...

I took my silver haired lover's hand and traced in my response without looking.

'Okay Usagi, I promise to tell you whenever something is troubling me'
