AMIR POV ...That weekend
Markeyvius stood in the mirror and i stood behind him. The room was too quiet and my nerves started to get the best of me.
"Soo tell me something...." i inquired
"Nah shorty im not fuckin with it" he said
"What ! Why not ? This screams "KEYGLOCK". I been dressin you since middle school quit playin." I laughed
"Nah you know me, this shit icy" he looked over himself in the mirror.

I decided not to say anything because i already know what he saying is true. Markeyvius and i better known as Keyglock grew up in the system together. We would always end up in the same home or even with the same families. I had his back and he had mine. We still keep in touch but not as much like when we were in high school. Besides Nique he was the only other person i could call family.
He came in town for this rap battle tonight and of course he wouldn't let anyone else style him for this event.
"I told Nique we would all go eat tomorrow before your flight out that night" i spoke
"Bet! I need to see her crazy ass i seen she was pregnant on the gram" he replied
"Yeah she is ! Im so happy for her shes really in a good space, that baby got her soft.
He laughed "not Nique soft awww man" we both laughed cause Nique always been tough.
"You are comin tonight right Mir?" He asked , yeah lemme go change into what i laid out and we can go" i told him and headed for my room.
I already showered and Nique did my hair two days ago so i literally just have to get dressed.
I got to my room closed the door and stripped out of my lounge clothes. I looked at two piece outfit i had laid out nd smiled. Ill definitely be be stepping on a few necks tonight.
