Hoseok's pov

"Yoongi hyung? Can we play Mario together?"

Silence.

"Hyung?!?"

"Hobi, later please. Hyung's busy, go play by yourself first, I'll join you when I'm done."

Everyone's always busy, busy, busy!? Why isn't anyone paying attention to me?

It's been a few months since we started working on the upcoming album, and ever since, everyone's been so busy we barely had any rest.

Now that I've finished the choreo for the title track, I have lots of free time today and I wanted to spend it with the boys and the hyungs, but I couldn't.

The maknaes are out in the mall with Jin hyung. They went out really early so they wouldn't have to worry about traffic. I wanted to go with them but I was still asleep when they left.

I was left here at home with Yoongi hyung who was in his room working on a new song and Namjoon who was about to leave to meet up with a friend. So I'm technically alone.

You see, when yoongi hyung says he'll join you later, I always assume that he won't. Once he was seated on that chair of his, he wouldn't be getting up anytime soon.

I decided to just suck it up and go watch some Tiktok. I laid down on the couch in the living room and scrolled through my for you page. You see, many people think tiktok is annoying, but scrolling through random clips is really entertaining.

After almost an hour, I decided to go check on Yoongi hyung again. I mean, why does he need to work on more songs when all the songs for the new album are already set? Can't he take a break for once?

On the way to hyung's room, I heard a few rings from my phone.

Hobiii

I'm gonna go get some drinks, come with me!

Let's meet at the bus stop near that cat café in 10 minutes

See ya!

Jun was a friend of mine since college. Well, he's a bit of a troublemaker which is why Jin and Yoongi hyung don't really want me hanging out with him. Why would he wanna grab a drink this early in the day?

Anyway, since yoongi hyung was too busy, maybe he would let me hang with Jun today.

"Hyung?"

"Yes hobi?"

"Can I go out?"

Hyung immediately looked away from his work and shot his look at me.

Well that got his attention.

"Where? With whom? What time?"

"Well Jun texted me-"

"No." Hyung cut me off.

"But-"

"Jung Hoseok, you know how me and Jin hyung feel about you being around that guy. He isn't a good influence, hobi. We're just looking out for you. I hope you understand. I promise I'll be out to play with you in a bit. I just need to finish this section."

With that, Yoongi hyung sent me back to the living room and diverted his attention back to his laptop.

I couldn't keep Jun waiting at the stop. Just a couple of hours wouldn't hurt, right? I bet hyung wouldn't even notice I'm gone! I need to go out and converse with someone else.
