PERSONALITY
Valerie is a very independent and original girl. Her personality can change on the drop of a hat, going from shy and quiet to eccentric and energetic. She's a deep thinker with a high intelligence that she doesn't apply all too much. She's a very helpful and caring person, she's good at problem solving and doesn't judge people. She can easily adapt to the energy around her, but sometimes she needs her alone time. On occasion Valerie can be abrupt and sometimes aggressive. A lot of the times she feels very limited and constrained, she desires freedom and equality for not only herself, but others too. She has a reputation for being cold and insensitive but this is just her defense mechanism, she has a hard time trusting people and expressing her emotions in a healthy way. She's very aloof, uncompromising and temperamental which makes her quite a wildcard.

BACKSTORY
In the Spring of 1995 Stan Pines had met a mysterious woman named Marilyn (although this wasn't her true name. For she was really Eda) with whom he fell in love with. Their relationship was fast paced and before anyone knew it the two were getting hitched in the middle of May.
After the two were married Marilyn divorced Stan after only six hours and ran off with everything she robbed from him. What Stan nor Marilyn knew was that Marilyn was pregnant with their first child who would soon be known as Valerie.
She gave birth to Valerie and left her with her parents in Seattle, Washington instead of leaving her with Stan or even telling her ex husband of their daughters existence. Growing up Valerie was a very confused child. She lived with her grandparents instead of her parents.
Her grandparents were never ones to tell the truth, all Valerie knew was that her parents weren't together anymore and they both had their own lives to live.
Years went by in Seattle, Eda only stopped by very rarely. By the time Valerie turned 10 her grandparents were very sick and couldn't take care of her anymore.
