"Woah, you studied here?" Jae asked incredulously, looking at the building in front of him, "This is a fucking palace!"
The 'Palace' in question was a majestic building, almost too majestic to be a private school, and having had queen Elizabeth's daughter, Anne attend it, it had built up quite a reputation. Precisely the reason Maya's father chose it. It being an All-girls schools was an added bonus.
"Language, Jae!" Maya's husband, Jiho, continued walking like it was no big deal.
"Wow, my broke childhood cannot relate," Maya laughed, (the kind of laugh that makes Jiho all warm and gushy inside) and slapped her son's shoulder lightly.
"Oh shut up, you were literally showered in money the minute you were born bitch," Mia, their daughter flipped him off.
"What did you say, punk?" He chased her around, as Maya and Jiho laughed.
Jiho looked at her, and stared at her in a way that still made Maya feel like she was the Queen of his universe, (which she was, incase you were confused).
"What?" Maya looked at him, smiling slightly.
"Nothing, I was just thinking about the times I used to sneak in here and spend the night," He hugged her closer to his body, sneaking a small peck on her cheek.
"If you two are done with making another sibling, we should probably head to the front gate." Maya was so tempted to throw her heels on her son's face, but she controlled the urge; deciding to just bitch-slap him instead.
They made their way to the front entrance of the school (while Mia was laughing at how red Jae's cheek had become) and Maya suddenly found a wave of nostalgia hitting her, as she reminisced the years she'd spent in here.
"Woah mom, was this your math class?" Maya stared at the room which Mia was pointing towards.
"Yah, Maya Pappu!" The blonde chased her friend down the hallway, not pausing to see the expressions of her fellow classmates. "hoW DID YOU MANAGE TO BAG A 96% WHEN YOU SAID THE CALCULUS TEST WAS FUCKING HARD????" She groaned as her friend ran faster and wondered hoe she was able to run fast when she never worked out.
"IT WAS HARD, I NEEDED A 99%, BUT I ENDED UP WITH 96!" Maya hid in an empty classroom, her friend following soon after.
"HOW COULD YOU— Wait why're you crying?" Natalie walked over to Maya's crying figure, and engulfed her in a hug.
"Nat, my dad-my dad will hit-me, my dad will hit me a-again," Maya whimpered. "I o-only got-I only got 96%," She cried in Natalies arms, like she usually does when her father hits her.
"Honey, when are you going to report his pathetic ass?" Maya looks up at Natalie.
"Its not that easy. He'll- he'll hit me again. With-with a b-b-belt this-s ti-time," Natalie continues to rub circles on Maya's back.
"It's fine sweetie, I got you. Nat's got you,"
"...Yeah, It was previously the Calculus room but now it's Math I guess," Jae scrunched his nose in disgust.
"I can't with math anymore. I'm on a break and I REFUSE to talk about that subject," Jiho chuckled slightly.
They slowly walked through the corridors in the large campus, making their way through numerous classrooms.
