Ink sans. The creator of all the au's.
He went emotionless suddenly. All his vials were empty, leaving a shell of his former self with nothing to care about. Except one thing. (Y/N).
(Y/N) was something unlike anything Ink had ever seen. To him, it was more important that anything he had ever created, even the au's he worked so hard on for countless hours. It confused him. Whenever he looked at her, or even thought of her, his mind would swirl with pictures of the young girl, and he didn't know why.
It made him feel funny, as if his non-existent heart wouldn't stop beating. He had no idea why. He wasn't supposed to have feelings. After all, his vials were empty, and he had no soul. This wasn't supposed to be happening. It hurt his head just to think about it. But he liked this feeling. He wanted to fufill the emotion that wouldn't go away whenever he thought of that pretty girl.
He wanted to make sure that she was his, no matter the cost. He wanted her all to himself. Yet he never understood why. When he looked at it from every single angle, he couldn't figure out why he couldn't look away, why he wished he could stay with her forever.
But then again, some good things never last. She told herself and friends she was aromantic and asexual. She wanted nothing to do with love, especially considering how many times her heart had been broken. But once Ink found out about this, it was if his life had stopped. He stopped visiting (Y/N) for a long time; longer than he could remember. He stopped texting her and calling her to check on how she was doing. And he didn't answer any of her calls or texts when she was worried about him
He couldn't bear the thought that the one he loved so much wouldn't return his feelings, it hurt him, and his heart ached. He got crazier and crazier, not seeing her or hearing her sweet angelic voice. All the love and want for the girl he adored built up over time, until a new feeling formed.
Need.
It was no longer a matter of want, no longer a longing to be her one and only. No. Now, he needed her. So he started showing up again. Oh how happy she was to see him. The first time he saw her again, that feeling came back and his pulse rose. That feeling he hated so much, but loved how much it hurt him to think about it. But it was stronger. She cried as she hugged him, she was so happy to see her lifelong best friend.
To her, it felt like years since she last saw him, it felt more like decades when in reality, it was 2 and a half years. But that signature smile he always flashed when he was happy to the Ink sans exclusive paint brush he always carried around caused so many good memories to flood back to her, only fueling the tears rushing down her face like waterfalls.
