Ink walked into the interrogation room, sweat forming on his forehead (don't look into that logic). Was he about to get caught? Y/N was allowed to look in through 1 way glass so Ink couldn't see her, but she could see him. The whole point of the glass was to make him think she wasn't there, so he would tell all of the truth; including the things he didn't want Y/N to hear, all without the knowledge that Y/N was actually there, listening to everything alongside another policeman.

Ink sat at one side of the table, a cop on the other side of the table in another chair. He looked around the room and saw cameras everywhere. Typical, he scoffed. "Why am I here, exactly?" He said. His voice had returned to monotone, something Y/N hadn't heard for so long, it hurt her heart to hear it once again. His face was blank, but looked aggressive at the same time, almost if you were trying to hide your true feelings to keep how you look to others up, despite the fact that others don't like you ( please don't take that as a personal attack- It's just everybody is skeptical of Ink so- ).

The cop cleared his throat. "You've been suspected of the murder of B/F/N. We have evidence we won't care to show you. Even against your protests, we will show you either way," They said calmly, but almost passive-aggressively. Ink nodded. "Call me Jake, just so you don't have to not address me, you know?" He got up and left the room. Ink was left in the interrogation room alone, now. Y/N's face paled. Ink buried his face in his face before leaning back in the chair.

"I know somebody's watching me, right now," He said quietly. "And I know you can hear me, but all I want to say is that if you so much as lay a finger on Y/N, I will break out of wherever I'm going and I will kill you," He continued, looking over at where the 2 way glass was, unknowingly looking straight into Y/N's eyes, sending a shiver down her spine as she saw the death glare he was giving.

It hurt her, to see him like this. She had purposely told him she was aromantic because she saw how obsessive he was over her, which, like most relationships while not all, can end up in a bad situation of a 1 sided love. In reality, she wasn;t aromantic, in fact, she was very open about wanting to date somebody else, especially after Ink left. She had felt a weight be released from her chest; she felt free for once.

But this? This hurt her. To see him like this, to see her childhood best friend like this, it shocked her past the limit of return. She buried her face in her hands and started weeping quietly. The cop beside her embraced her softly. Ink looked away from the glass and over at the door, which was not cracked open by Jake now walking in. He stopped and looked behind himself at Y/N.

"It's okay, miss L/N," He said softly, giving her a warm-

"Y/N?!" Ink stood up from his chair, his eyes wide. Jake spun around to face him, both their faces painted with shock (bad joke intended). Ink stared him in the eyes with fear and shock clear on both of their faces. Of course a human would fear a powerful skeleton driven mad with love. Who wouldn't? It's a life or death situation, if you think about it. He had snapped already, he was past the point of repair, couldn't be fixed unless Y/N could forgive him and forget what she heard.

Oh if things could go back to normal.

Ink's POV

My hands brushed against broomie ('nother bad joke intended UwU ), getting ready to grab it and wrap that stupid Jake in something he could never escape unless somebody else helped him: chains. I ran at him, jumping over the table, and swiped the oversized paintbrush over his whole front side, snapping my fingers, turning the red paint into chains that burned into his skin. I kicked him over. Alarms sounded throughout the building. I looked over at Y/N, she was terrified. The cop beside her was gone, now. I dropped broomie and walked over to her, looking down at her.

"H-Hey, I'm.. Are you okay?" I asked, only making her more scared of me. She shielded herself with he arms, shoving me away and to the other wall. "G-Get away from m-me!" She shouted, running out of the room. My heart stopped, or, it would it I had one. I growled and grabbed broomie. Now that she caught me, I would never be able to have her for myself. I jabbed a hole in the ceiling and hopped away. I found one of my favorite trees to climb and jumped up into it. I sighed in defeat, Y/N hated me. I had nothing else in my life. Nothing.

She was my everything, everything I had. It sounds sad, but the truth isn't always happy. It's as if your best friend in the whole world caught you doing something bad. They were your only friend, the only person left in your life who actually cared about you; everybody else hated you for something you'd done, even your worst enemy wouldn't talk to you.

Then they caught you doing something bad, then they found out the side of you you didn't want to show them. They were scared of you now, they hated you, your whole world was gone now. That's how I feel. That's exactly how I felt. It's painful.

I eventually fell asleep, not bothering to put broomie away before I fell into a hole of nightmares that I had no control over.
