The Butterfly Princess

🦋 Chapter 1 🦋

In the kingdom of Canterlot, its ruled by two sisters Princess Celestia and Princess luna. Everybody in the kingdom looked to them. One day King Sombra attacked the village and made everyone his slaves but Princess Celestia and Luna banished him in the outskirts of nowhere land where to this day he resides

Now everybody was finally happy again. Everyone in Canterlot was getting everything ready for a coronation for the new princess. Twilight and her friends were helping to get everything perfect.

Twilight~ "Decorations check, how's the food Applejack?"

Applejack~ "Ahm almost done sugarcube"

Rarity~ "I'm almost done with the dress"

Twilight~ "Where's Fluttershy?"

Pinkie Pie: "She's with her animals and getting them to do the music"

Fluttershy was at a garden with her birds sorting out with the music but also loud enough for everyone to hear. A few birds were off key a little but Fluttershy helped them. Rarity went to check on her.

Rarity~ "Your really good with animals darling"

Fluttershy~ "Thanks Rarity, I'm not quite done with the music yet"

Rarity~ "You'll get there eventually. I wonder who will be the new princess"

To be honest, no one in the village knows. Princess Celestia and Luna hasn't told anyone yet. Fluttershy noticed a strange butterfly she hadn't seen before. It was a blue butterfly but was sparkling. Fluttershy wondered if Pinkie Pie had sprinkled glitter on it.

Fluttershy~ "Twilight i saw a strange butterfly"

Twilight~ "What made it strange?"

Fluttershy~ "It was a blue butterfly but it was sparkling like glitter"

Rarity~ "Silly Fluttershy, there's no such thing"

Fluttershy giggled thinking of how ridiculous that sounded like. The sun started to set and everyone went inside and turned the lights off ready for the night. Fluttershy got her animals some food and water also getting them to bed as well as herself. That night as she slept, she woke up suddenly and saw the same blue sparkly butter again. Fluttershy was confused.

Fluttershy~ "What is it little thing?"

The butterfly wanted fluttershy to follow it somewhere. Fluttershy got out of bed got some warm clothes on, a jacket and boots and followed the butterfly. It led Fluttershy to a cave where the mirror pool was but Fluttershy thought it was sealed away prying eyes. 'Why did it bring me here? Who opened it?' Fluttershy had so many questions through her mind right now but quickly followed the butterfly. It was hovering over the pond and it started to glow. Out of curiosity, Fluttershy looked over only to see herself getting crowned as the new princess of Canterlot.

Fluttershy~ "What? How can i be a princess?"

Princess Luna~ "Because it chose you. The Butterfly Princess"

Fluttershy~ "But how am i princess? I'm nit cut out for it"

Princess Luna~ "Fluttershy hear this. A great evil is about to come and only you can defeat him"

Fluttershy~ "Who and what?"

But before Fluttershy could get any answers, Princess Luna disappeared and she found herself and Fluttershy woke up to see that it was morning. Fluttershy couldn't tell if it was a dream or reality, but she'll find out soon.
