Chapter 3

Klaus's P. O. V:
We brought him home. I was really worried for my best friend to wake up, considering the hell he had went through 6 months, it would be really difficult to keep him sane. What if he has shut off his humanity? This question was in my mind most of the time. I sat there with him for what like 6 hours. It was dark at night and sleep was taking over me. "Niklaus" I turned around and saw elijah. "you should eat something and sleep now, it is quite late" he said to me. "I am not hungry elijah, and I will not go to sleep until he wakes up" I said firmly. Elijah came closer and sat beside me. "nik, you have to eat something otherwise you would be weak" he said. "Oh come-on, elijah, I am the original hybrid, I will not be weaken up that easily, and considering the fact, he hadn't eaten since 6 months and he is still alive, then I am the original hybrid, how can I be dead without eating for a day?" I said. "niklaus, I know you are hurt to see your best friend in this state, but if you don't wanna eat for yourself, then eat for him. He will need help when he will wake up, HE WILL BE NEEDING HIS BEST FRIEND, so be a good boy and eat" he said and handed me a blood bag. I sighed and took it and ate it. I finished it in matter of seconds. I heard a groan and looked in stefan's direction. He was beginning to wake up now.

Stefan's P. O. V:
I was finding it hard to open my eyes, but eventually I opened them. I looked around my environment, I wasn't in the water, I had been rescued. I shot up in the bed, sweat forming my face, as if I was trapped in a nightmare. I was panting really hard. "Hey, take it easy, mate". I looked at the person who said that. Nik. "Nik?" I said. "I am right here, mate, you are safe" he said. I threw my arms at him. He hugged me back. "you found me, you saved me, klaus, thank you so much klaus from taking me out of the hell that I endured" I cried in his arms. "it's okay, mate you are fine now" he said. I pulled away from the hug. "Where is everyone?" I asked. They are downstairs, they were also waiting for you to wake up" he answered. "Well, I don't have the strength to go downstairs right now, so they can come up, but not too many people" I said. "Yeah, only, damon, Elena, kol and Freya are downstairs" he said. "okay, I'll meet damon, 1st" I said. He nodded and rushed out of the door. "elijah" I said and pulled him into a hug. He hugged me back. He was like a big brother to me. "Thank you so much" I said, while pulling back from the hug. "come on, stefan, we had to save you, don't be so formal" he said and I gave him a smile. "btw, who is this Freya?" I asked. He was about to answer me when damon came from the room.

Damon's P. O. V :
"stefan" I said. "Hello, brother" he said, smiling. I quickly rushed forward and hugged the life out of him. "Easy, damon, I still am weak" he said. "oh, I am so sorry" I said pulling myself away. "Thank you, brother, for saving me". He said. "thank you? I should be saying sorry to you that I didn't look for you and you had to go through hell for 6 months." "It's okay, brother, I am not angry at you guys" he said. I smiled in relief. "Well, we have a new problem at our heads now" he said. I grew tensed. "what problem?" I said. "I am silas's doppelganger" he said and my eyes grow in astonishment.
