Steven Universe and Camp Camp pt. 2

(A/N:welcome to part 2! Now, the first part was lazy, but this part won't be. So, enjoy!)

Max's POV

It is great to finally sing after seven years, but I know I can't sulk on the past. I hate to say, but I don't want David worrying about my past when the present is what we should be focusing on.

"Max, I can't believe you sang." Nikki says. I shrug.

"Well, I haven't in seven years." I explain. Everyone gasps.

"Seven years!?" Neil asks surprised. I nod.

"Yup, seven years without singing. My mother never wanted me too, and beat me everytime I did." I say.

"That's sad." Steven says. I shrug.

"Me being alone for six thousand years is worse." Spinel says.

"How did you survive?" Nikki asks her. Spinel shrugs.

"Us gems don't have to eat, drink, or sleep." Spinel says, that's interesting.

Boulder Opal's POV

Yes, I do have all gem power, but the diamonds want me to 'control' them. I can.

"Hey Steven! It won't take a week to get them home with me here." I say truthfully. Steven looks at me and smiles.

"True, c'mon Boulder!" He exclaims and hops on the warp pad.

"Can I come?" Spinel asks, knowing I have authority of her more than the diamonds. I nod. "Yippee!" Steven, Spinel, Neil, Max, Nikki, and I all warp back to Earth.

"Ah, home sweet home." I say. It's so great to be home. Okay Boulder, focus! I start opening a portal to Max, Nikki, and Neil's dimension. "It won't be open for too long." Max looks a bit upset.

"Now, I actually don't wanna leave." Max says. Nikki and Neil look surprised. "Can I stay for at least two more days?" He asks. I chuckle.

"I'll have to get permission from your father." I say. Max, Nikki, Neil, and I go through the portal. Nikki and Neil go to their tents, as Max and I walk to the counselor cabin. I knock on the door. A man with red hair answers.

"Hello there!" He says.

"Hello." I say.

"Dad, I have a question." Max says to the red head.

"Yes Max?"

"Can I stay in an different dimension for a few days? At least two?"

"Well, it depends what dimension."

"My dimension, sorry for butting in, but I actually come from a different dimension than this. My name is Boulder Opal by the way, but you can call me Boulder." I say.

"Well then, nice meeting you Boulder, I'm David, Max's adopted father." David says.

"Nice too meet you as well." I say, David smiles and looks at Max.

"Sure, you may stay in her dimension for as long as you'd like." David says. Max's eyes light up and he hugs David's legs.

"Thanks Dad." Max says.

"Your welcome Max."

Timeskip + Max's POV

I'm so glad Dad let me stay with Steven and Boulder. Now, I'm hanging out with Boulder, Spinel, Lapis, Peridot, Steven, Pearl, Connie, Amethyst, Garnet, and Bismuth at the beach at the beach house.

"You Max! Wanna see what I made?" Amethyst asks me. I turn to look at her.

"Yeah!" I say, but I don't see her, I do see a sand version of myself. I smile, then Amethyst jumps out, shape shifted to look like me.

"Rah!" She says as she jumps out.

"Woah! Haha!" I laugh.

"Max! Look out!" Boulder says as Lapis tries hitting me with a water hand. I move out of the way in time.

"Ha! Gotta try harder to get Ma-" then I get hit with Lapis's water hand. I spit out the water in my mouth as Lapis laughs.

"Sorry, but I had to!" She explained.

"I'll get you back!" I yell playfully.

"Gotta catch me first!" Lapis says before flying away from the sand. DAMNIT! She knows I can't swim! Oh well.
