Downtown Houston Brennan's of Houston 11:00 a.m.
THE LAST COUPLE of days had been nothing short of awkward, for Miracle and Keven.
No matter how hard she tried, she couldn't seem to get yesterday morning out of her head. Every single part of Dino was etched inside of her brain, from his gorgeous smile right down to his washboard abs.
She could practically still feel his lips on her bare flesh. The thought caused a chill to run down her spine.
An image of Dino's naked body flashed through Miracle's mind. She had to fan herself and lightly dab at the beads of sweat that formed on her chest.
"Miracle? You okay?" The concern in her long time friend Cassie's voice, made her snap out of her thoughts.
Miracle looked at her, wide eyed, "I'm sorry, what did you say?"
"Are you okay?" Cassie repeated.
"Umm, yeah I'm fine."
"Are you sure? Because, you seem a little spaced out."
"No I'm okay," Miracle replied, completely lying through her teeth.
"Long night with the husband?" Her other friend, Jourdyn asked.
Miracle contemplated telling them the truth. The last thing she wanted, was to be frowned upon and judged by her own friends.
If they knew that she was having an affair with some other man, they would never let her live it down.
She should know, it's happened a couple of times, and she was usually the one passing judgement.
"You do know he was gone away for three days on a business trip? I'm sure he and Miracle have been busy for the past couple of days, or shall I say nights." Jourdyn said, with a slick smile.
If only she knew how wrong she was. Miracle had barely seen Quincy since the first night he stepped foot back into their home.
If he wasn't at work, he would be hanging out with Dino and their friends. She was getting way more attention from Dino and strangely enough, she was perfectly fine with that.
She'd seen Dino's face way more than she did her own husband, around the house. The fact that he too hadn't said two words to her since their sexual encounter, didn't help either.
