a movie
he better come. you didn't waste your money to buy two tickets for nothing. you wouldn't mind seeing the movie alone.. it was what you originally had planned. actually, it's not what you had originally planned. you planned on watching this movie with your ex partner before the movie even came out. it's a sequel for the first movie you watched with your ex partner. he really liked the movie, but unfortunately you won't be watching the movie with him.you waited in the front entrance door with your arms crossed watching people enter and leave. if you were honest you're excited to see the sequel for the movie. you've been waiting for the sequel for about a year. you're glad the sequel has finally come out.
"yah, why did you take so long? there's only a couple minutes left before the movie starts" you questioned with annoyance once daegon arrived. he rolled his eyes with a sigh, "you think i really want to watch a movie with you?" he questioned back with the same attitude. you huffed slightly and began making your way, giving the tickets to the ticket receptionist before entering the actual movie theater.
you two stopped in the in the snack court, where they served popcorn. daegon stood beside you looking at all the snacks and the menu. "you can order"
".. two medium popcorns and two medium cokes" daegon simply ordered, "yah, do you think a medium popcorn and medium cokes will be enough? large popcorn and large coke" you corrected causing daegon to give you a look. while you two seemed to be having a staring contest the waitress awkwardly wrote down what you had ordered. "if you wanted that why didn't you order first" daegon grumbled
"because i was being nice" you mumbled before bringing your gaze back in the waitress who had the two large popcorns and two large cokes. "you're paying" you informed taking one of the large popcorns and large coke. daegon watched as you turned your heel already walking to the where the movie was being played which wasn't far. he scoffed taking the couple of bucks, following behind you.
you might be wondering, why daegon out of all? you wouldn't have chosen daegon in the first place nor would you choose anyone you know. you'd prefer watching the sequel alone now because you can't with your ex partner anymore. but if it wasn't for your strict mother.. she only allowed you to watch the movie if daegon was there with you. sometimes you wonder why daegon always ends up going, why doesn't he make an excuse?
the movie was already halfway through but it still didn't seem to get daegons attention. though he did find some parts interesting. but this particular part of the movie really made him bored. he didn't understand why you would want to watch such a sad movie. sad movies were never his type. he prefers action movies. the main character just passed away leaving his significant other alone.he sighed darting his eyes away from the screen and looking beside him. to him it looked like you were truly invested into the movie. your eyes were glued to the screen not noticing daegon was looking at you. suddenly a tear rolled down your cheek which caused daegon to furrow his eyebrows. he never thought you would cry for a movie. daegon brought his gaze back on the screen. the female sat by herself in the same spot she hanged out with her lover, she was all alone. sad music played. he prefers action movies.
"why do you like these type of movies? they're so boring" daegon claimed crossing his arms as you two walked out of the movie theater. you glared at him, "if you don't like these type of movies then what type of movies do you like?"
"i rather watch a drama than a sad movie. what was the point for the main character to take their life away? there's no point" daegon replied. daegon watched as your expression changed, though you were just glaring at him he could see sadness in your eyes. you stayed silent keeping your gaze with daegon before looking away noticing your eyes had become glossy,"tch, you wouldn't understand" you mumbled as you began walking ahead of him.
daegon kept his eyes on you as you walked ahead. it's not often when he sees you in an upset state. usually you're angry or just act tough but today you were different. daegon followed behind you once again having no choice.
from afar sangrok observed how you were talking to a male. he watched as you looked at him with an upset expression, on the verge of tears. it was a good thing you looked away on perfect timing, saying something to the male and left. it was all a coincidence he happened to see you in the movies. he actually came to watch a sequel with yejin. he wanted to watch this movie and thought it would be best to watch with yejin.
"im hungry, let's get ice cream" was all you said, you haven't spoken since you two left the movies. the movies is like more than ten minutes away. this is the longest daegon has ever seen you quiet. you weren't bickering nor arguing with each other. you didn't even look at daegon instead you were looking around watching as cars drove past. eating the ice cream silently.
"yah, why are you so quiet now? did my words hurt you?" daegon asked breaking the silence, though he wanted to sound more delicate he still had that harsh tone. you took a small glimpse at him scoffing, "you think your words hurt me? ive been through worst" you answered shortly
daegon looked at you, you weren't looking at him anymore. he couldn't see any sadness anymore but something didn't feel right. how can your attitude switch up so fast? your words replayed in his head, ive been through worst. what do you mean by that? he doesn't recall his parents telling him about anything bad you've been through. how can you go through something worst without him knowing?
