new home. part 10

okay let's see.

we go to the kitchen and we see what's to eat.

i kinda want some mac n cheese.

i start to make some.

i start to remember how me and my mom made food and my dad watched us laughing.

god. how did my life become this.

i mix and mix. i try to hold back tears.

i feel some hands snake around my waist.

" what's wrong babe?" he says

" nothing. just thinking about my family." i say

" well just know everything will be okay." he says

i smile.

i finish my mac n cheese.

" do you wanna go swimming later?" he says

" eh i'm not rlly in the mood." i say

" okay fine what do you wanna do?" he says

" nothing." i say

" really?" he says

he looks at his clock.

" come on. it's barely four." he says

" i'm not in the mood." i say

" okay." he says and goes to his " new" office

i go out side and sit down near the edge

my feet hang above the water

i breathe and i feel peace

" hey dad. um i hope your with mom looking over me right now. i just wanted to let you know i miss you. and i'm okay. mattias sweet and good. he's not that mean. even though he kidnapped me. and yeah that's not okay you know but i have literally nothing else except him. he's my friend i guess.. i don't know if that's wrong to say. just he's all i have."

i breathe a few more times. for the first time. i feel okay. i feel fine.

" hey you good?" mattia asks.

he plops next to me

" yeah.. yeah. i'm okay." i say

" do you have anything on you?" he says

" what do you mean?" i say

" like do you have anything in your pockets?" he says

" no why?" i say

" okay good stand up." he says

okay... i'm confused

i stand up and he stands up with me

then... he fricken pushed me into the water

i fall down and i'm literally soaking wet.

" mattia!" i scream

" yeah baby?" he says

he's so annoying.

" your kidding. IM SOAKING WET!" i say

" ouu. for me?" he says

" why do you make everything dirty?" i say

he takes his shirt off and jumps in

" mattia!" i say and the water hits my face.

i try to get out of the water but mattia pulls me back and basically yanks me back into the water
