Angellina looked at the man who was in front of her. She was hidden in a dark place where she thinks he can't see her. She kept silent, and watched the man as he stands over the dead woman. She had just whitnessed the murder of her mother, and her father was probably next. Angellina didn't dare cry, because she knew he would hear her then. Her brother was beside her too, and keeping her as calm as he could. They looked at each other and without a word, knew what each other was thinking. They had to be silent, and barely breathe in order not to be detected.

The stranger was a tall man, who apperently seemed to enjoy killing. While he was standing over the woman, a smile was on his face, as if he loved seeing the woman lifeless on the ground in front of him. He had long black hair, bloody red eyes, a long coat, and a hat. His teeth were unusually sharp, and he had a devilish grin. He was waiting for something, because he didn't move. He had his hand wraped around his gun tight, and his glove had a few spots of blood on it.

Then, Angellina heard the door knob turn, and her father appeared. He came in the door and saw the stranger. He droped his things and then saw his wife laying dead on the kitchen floor. He let out a wail, and the stranger griped his gun tighter. Her father started crying and droped down to his knees. He crawled over to the corps of his wife, and kissed her cold cheek lightly. Blood came onto his lips and all over his hands. He was right in the middle of his wife's pool of blood, and he seemed to be in shock. The stranger raised the gun to her dad's head, and her brother covered Angellina's eyes quickly. She heard the stranger say, "Welcome to Hell." She felt a tear go down her face when she heard a single gunshot and heard her father fall to the floor with a big thud.

She heard the man walk away slowly and shut the door behind him. Her brother uncovered her eyes and she started crying softly, afraid the man was still listening. Her brother held her softly and patted her back. He whispered softly, "It's okay. I am still here for you. Don't cry anymore. Do you know what dad would say to you right now?"

Angellina opened her mouth, and spoke witha squeaky, shaky voice. "To be a strong young lady..."

He nodded. "Yes. Good girl. Now, look at me and stop crying. We will make it okay? It might not always be good at times, but it will pay off I promise."

She nodded and sniffled. She stopped crying and hugged her brother tight. "Thank you Zane. I promise to stay strong, even when I am older. And I promise to kill that son of a bitch who killed mama and daddy."

Zane chuckled and kissed her forehead. "Good girl." Zane then crawled out and Angellina fallowed. She heard men yelling in rage outside the door, and she thought they knew something was wrong. She took one last look at her parents and wished they were happy where they are now. Angellina used to believe in God, but what God would let a man take parents away from their own children, leaving them all alone? No holy god she could think of can save her and her brother now.

She ran out the back door, this time leading her big brother. Zane took a bag of money before they both left the house. He knew they would need as much money as possible.

"There's no turning back now now..." she said to herself. "Everything that we knew has changed. All we have is each other, everything else is dead and gone." She looked back one last time and saw her house go up in flames. This time, no tears came out as she grabed her brother's hand and lead him through the dark woods, hoping for a better start. There was no saddness in Angellina, only rage and hate. All she wanted for her parents was revenge, and one day, she will get it. She just knew she would but right now she had to focus on getting stronger and looking after herself and Zane. The first thing that popped in her mind was food and shelter. She headed straight for the little town nearby, and she felt twiggs cut her pale flesh with crimson blood dripping slowly down. She didn't wince in pain, or turn around to the crowd, hoping they would take the siblings in. No. She had to go forward.
