Things Aren't So Perfect...

You watched as Lou walked back into the symmetrical doors. A wave of chatter circled around you as the crowds started to wander back to the houses. You wondered why he had stopped to look at you, he would have called you out if he thought you were ugly, right? Sophie approached you, bounding in a little skip. She had a gleeful glint in her eyes.

She opened her petite mouth to speak. "It's been super fun, (y/n), but it is getting late." Her soft voice flowed smoothly. "We should hang out again sometime! My number is 087-914-567, call me sometime." She smiled at you.

You looked at the sky. It was a beautiful sunset, in shades of red, purple and yellow. The sun was just looming over the small suites. You stood up, watching the sunset. You slipped your hand into your pocket, fiddling around for a second before pulling out a new smartphone. You used your thumbprint to unlock it, putting Sophie's number into your phone. There was nobody around now, so you were considering going back home.

The sun had almost finished setting into the earth when you saw a figure approaching you. Soon you realised it was Lou, the last streaks of sunlight setting on his golden hair. "(y/n), could we talk?" You opened your mouth to reply but he cut you off. "In private." He had a serious tone in his voice, so you presumed that this was probably important. You nodded.

He motioned for you to follow him. You trailed behind him before he stopped at a large mansion. You watched as he pulled out a set of keys, opening the door. You walked inside onto the flooring, it seemed like pine or maybe oak floorboards. There was a set of stairs leading to another floor.

"Come upstairs," he said, so you followed him upstairs. He lead you into his bedroom. It had a plush carpeted floor, and multiple pictures of him. There was one copper statue as the centrepiece. One wall was a huge window, looking over the houses. You sat down at the window, staring at the almost set sun when Lou's voice startled you. "I'll be right back," you heard him start, before footsteps wandered away.

-

He walked into the back room, digging into a drawer. He pulled out a tranquilliser gun and a singular bullet. He loaded the gun, a mischievous glint in his sky-blue eyes. He stretched his arms, getting ready to commit the crime. "Now's the time." Malicious intent was laced into his perfect little voice.

He wasn't going to feel any remorse for what he was about to do to (y/n). He had a snide grin on his face as he wandered back into the room. He aimed the gun. "I'm supposed to be the only perfect one around here, porcelain face." He watched as she turned around slightly to look at him, and he fired the dart into her neck.

-

"I'm supposed to be the only perfect one around here, porcelain face."

You turned around. What did he mean-

You felt a sharp prick in your neck and you immediately felt woozy. You slumped to the floor, your eyes going dark as you saw him approach you slowly.
