Today was the next day after melody was hired and the other extra stuff i dont wanna talk about

"i want some water,fen can you get me some?it would mean a lot to me~" i say trying to look cute
He blushes and nods "heh,i havent used that trick since..i was like 18?" i say smirking "thats a simple trick but that wasnt even a flirt" melody says "mind your own business,stupid" i shot back smiling "oh im sorry,kitty~" she says holding in a laugh at my flustered face "im back!heres your water kit—y/n!i mean y/n..hehe.." fen says nervously handing me the cup of water "its fine" i say taking a sip "so what're we working on today?" i ask him "dr.gearloose said to just clean the lab while he does his work,it seems like he dosent have any ideas today" fen says shrugging "but we just cleaned it like...probably a week ago!!" i say pouting making him chuckle "too bad,here mop that part over there to that part, oh and mel you can dust the stuff there and there!and ill do my regular" he says handing us our cleaning utencils as he also starts cleaning i shrug and start moping as mel starts dusting and fen starts cleaning

5 hours later

"aaaugh!!my back hurts!!" mel complains i just roll my eyes and continue cleaning but fen walks over to her and start..massaging her? "dont worry ill make you feel better!" fen says making melody smile and relax from his touch, i cant believe im actually saying this but im actually a bit jealous "ehem..its almost time to go home we better clean up before we head out" i say sounding a bit impatient "chill y/n mel's back hurts cant you let her take a break for a while?" fen says a little upset "alright,fine..excuse me while i use the bathroom" i say quickly dissapearing out of their sight

I shut the bathroom door and lock it "whats wrong with me?!it was just a little something why did i just act out like that?!" i say ruffling my hair/feathers "whats worse is i think im starting to like fenton?! Ugh this cant be!why?!" i say hugging my knees and bumping my head on the wall

Then i heard a knock on the door "uhh—its occupied in here!!" i say quickly getting up and fixing myself "dont lie i  know your not busy,kitty" then i recognized it..it was dr.gearloose geez i thought he was joking when he said my nickname was now kitty "d-dont call me that!!" i say blushing "no can do thats your nickname now" he says and somehow i think he was smirking on the other side of the door "just let me in i cant hold it anymore" he says sounding a bit more annoyed and impatient "alright,alright" i say unlocking the door only to be pushed away "ow!!" i say rubbing my head "sorry not sorry" he says qyickly going in the toilet "rude" i say closing the door and leaving "your back,what took you so long?" fen ask "nothing" i say starting to clean again "if you say so" he says also cleaning "wheres mel?" i asks fen "she went to buy coffee for me and you plus her,isnt she so sweet?" fen says smiling "uh..yeah.." i say forrowing my eyebrows

15 minutes later

"im back!!heres your coffee fenny!and you too kitty" she says giggling "not funny,stupid" i say trying to put on a poker face "welp looks like we're done,lets go home guys" he says taking a sip of his coffee "ok" mel and me say making me choke on my coffee "are you okay?!" fen says patting my back "im good" i say exiting the lab "wait,want me to walk you home?" fen ask " no thanks" i say even tho i really wanted to say yes "hey fen maybe you can walk me home!" mel says making me flinch but continue walking "alright,bye y/n see you tommorow"  fen says waving me goodbye

I give him a thumbs up and start to speed walk
