*Ashley's P.O.V*

"I'm sorry Ashley, but it's a no." Simon told me. My heart sank and I instantly felt as though I wasn't good enough. I ran through the house and to the room I was staying in for that short while. I called up my mom and told her the devastating news.

"Oh honey I'm so sorry. You can try again in a few years." but what she doesn't understand is I can't. Never again.

I gasped as I sat up quickly in bed. I still remember that horrible night to this day. It's been 3 years and I still remember that.

"Ashley, Olivia, dinner is ready." My mother called up the stairs. We both raced out of our rooms and down the stairs.

"Ha I win!" Olivia told me as we reached our seats.

"I'll get you next time munchkin" I told her sticking my tongue out playfully. We are eating Roast beef and mashed potatoes for dinner, my favorite meal.

"Girls I have something I'd like to give you both. I want you to be calm and please do not scream when I hand you these. Your father and I both wanted to give you these but something came up and he had to work late." She told us.

"Okay, so what is it?" Olivia questioned, eager to get her unknown surprise.

"Calm down munchkin. She'll give them to us after dinner." I chucked at the little energy ball. Once we finished eating and rinsed off our dishes, I headed upstairs to get a quick shower and get ready for bed before my mom handed us our 'surprises'.

"Girls come on down. I have your surprises." My mother knocked on our doors gently. When we came downstairs I sat on the couch, Olivia sat beside me, and mom sat on the chair in front of us.

"Here you are" she said as she handed them to us. "Now just give me a moment to cover my ears" she said as I chuckled a bit.

"Okay Olive on the count of three, ready? 1... 2... 3!" I said as we both opened our gifts.

I sat there with my jaw dropped as olivia let out the loudest, squeakyest bloody murder scream I have ever heard. My mom did not just do this. She did not. Nope I refuse to believe this.

My mom got us One Direction tickets, and backstage passes. Oh the joy.
