oikawa wanted to dig a hole in the ground, jump into it and bury himself in there forever. he's looking directly at iwaizumi and his girlfriend being all cheesy and sweet to each other.

it's been two years since iwaizumi got himself a girlfriend. two years since oikawa first started having nightmares. two years since oikawa cries himself to sleep ever night.

it was supposed to be a high school reunion among the volleyball team but iwaizumi insisted on bringing his girlfriend over to introduce her to them.

the whole team could literally feel the tension in the air as oikawa continues to clench his fist and glare at the loving couple.

"uhhh let's order some food." makki tried to break the silence by saying something. it broke the silence but it didn't break the tension.

oikawa squinted his eyes at the sweater asumi was wearing. it looked so familiar. then he realized it.

that was the exact same sweater iwaizumi gave him to wear when they watched the meteor shower three years ago.

funny how oikawa's wish was to let iwaizumi fall in love with himself and confess to him but instead he did the exact opposite. fall in love with someone else and confess to them.

oikawa just wanted the day to be over with. it hurt too much. his heart didn't felt like it was beating anymore. it could just drop dead any moment now. actually, he would be grateful for that. at least it meant he didn't have to deal with the pain he was experiencing.

the reunion ended with oikawa pardoning himself, leaving only after to have joined for one hour.

of course oikawa went back to the apartment he rented. hoping that his bed would give him some comfort and solace that iwaizumi was no longer able to provide to him.
