They gleam with light
Dilated in the darkness
Forever believing, whatever's in front of them
Unknown to what is out there
Shadowed by the truth
Together, mixed with our thoughts
Mushed with what we think
Some can see a weed
Others see a wish
Dreaming a new world
Created solely on imagination
How we control our mind
Our fears inside us
Eyes hiding what's really present
Fighting reality
Trying to reach for the harsh honesty
