I sat, still completely crumbled. Even though Vinnie left me two whole days ago, it still hurt the same. What was I supposed to do now? My entire being used to revolve around him. Freelancing was okay, but it wasn't enough to get a new apartment. I'd been staying in an old, abandoned building across the street of a cafe. I dropped out of high school to pursue hopelessly big dreams years ago, which meant I probably couldn't get a well-paying, credible job.
I had nothing. I was--no, am nothing. Not without Vinnie.

"you may call Seokjin in now."
"yes mr. CEO, sir"
The man in the chair rubbed his forehead, already dreading the next four minutes. His door proceeded to slam open, followed by a loud "WOO!" seconds later. He sighed deeply, closing his eyes and controlling himself before opening them again.
"hello, Seokjin." The CEO said, a little muffled by the hands on his face. He removed them and blinked slowly, the world coming into focus once again. The other smiled smugly before speaking.
"got another one for me? i'll breeze through this one ! after all, no one can resist mr. worldwide handsome." he said, winking at the end. The CEO resisted rolling his eyes at him.
Seokjin had a years' experience, yet he had accomplished more than the former top incubus had done in three. He had a perfectly symmetrical face, with plump lips and mesmerizing eyes. His fluffy, irresistible hair topped the whole thing, with his personality being the cherry on top. The "Man Upstairs" deemed him perfect for the job a year ago, and he's been here ever since. The CEO has had to put up with him for an entire 365 days. He already felt the stress-induced wrinkles, and that was NOT a good look at 26.
"since you know so much about the job already, Seokjin, here's the damned folder. once you get out" the CEO emphasized those two words with extra force, "go wild."
The other grinned happily, only glancing at the front of the folder and registering the single word in his head, before prancing to his room.
