"A Photo Of me" - Chapter #8

Me: "Oh, yes, thank you" –Looking at his hand and slowly looking up to his face.

"Holy Moly! It was Eddy Chen".

I immediately went all red; I wanted to scream and to hug him, and to ask for an autograph, a photo but I didn't want to bother him and look like a crazy fan...

Me: "Eh eh eh t han k y ou, Eddy". –Nervous smile.

Eddy: *chuckles* "I see you are part of the community, what a surprise! Ty for buying the merch". –He pointed at my hoodie.

Me: "Oh, yes yeah, I mean, yes, I am" –still nervous. "I am from Colombia, I ordered a while ago; I actually sent an e-mail to thank the TSA team for doing what they do. The quality is amazing and it helps me alot with my allergies. I don't have to worry about it... Ohh! I am so glad I found you here, I mean, not that I was trying to look for you, this is very random, I am sorry".

Eddy: "Oh! Don't worry, I guess it is the destiny. It's okay. U wanna have a photo with me or smth?" –Said with his sweet voice and smile.

Me: "Oh my God, pls! Thank you.

-Excuse me sr. Would you mind taking a pic of me and my friend? Thank you".

Eddy puts his arm on my shoulder and I tried to smile the best I could LOL I could feel mysef being all tensed up by the excitement.

Sr.: "There you go".

Me: "Thank you so much, have a great night". –Smiled.

Me: "Oh Eddy, I've never thought about meeting you like,u already know this but u guys are so talented and have inspired many people to play an instrument or to be better at theirs, and to listen to Classical music. Thank you so much for doing what u guys do, for loving your community and for being so dedicated".

Eddy: "Oh, it is actually our pleasure, we def love what we do and we feel so grateful for it. Thank You for being part of this community and for supporting". –Smiled.

Me: "Ohh, my pleasure, Eddy! Can I have a hug, pls?" *w*

Eddy: "Ofc, come here".

And that was the perfect ending to my day.

*Sighs*

He was kindly enough to tell me the cashier was calling me bc it was my turn, I didn't even realise LOL I was like thinking how could this just happen?! It was amazing.

It was around 5 minutes of conversation, photos and love. I had a big smile on my face. I couldn't believe it, I just couldn't...

Me: "Thank you so much, have a great night".

The cashier: "Have a great night too, thank you for buying at .....".

I just turned around and saw him for the last minute of the day

"Thank you so much, it was a pleasure to meet you, have a good night, Eddy". –I said.

Eddy: "Aww, thank you. Have a good night too. Rest well". –Smiled.

I smiled back at him.

My whole body was shaking, I couldn't believe it. OMG when I tell my friend Gaby, oh s*** I didn't ask for a vid for her. OMGG, I am such a bad friend, omg om gomg she's gonna kill me. –I thought.

OH my! How can I say it to her? Everything passed just so fast and and I didn't even think about it omg, Gaby I am sorry! –Continue thinking.

I walked some blocks back to my dorm, and I was watching the photo of Eddy and me. OMG, I was smiling like a 4 year old. Hahaha

I arrived, it was almost 10 p.m. Grabbed the phone and told Gaby about everything that had happened that night. She was so jealous, but so happy at the same time. She couldn't believe it either.

She was not mad at me at all. She said prob it'd have happened the same to her if she knew Eddy, she would not remember about the world.

Gaby: "U need to post that freaking pic. U both look adorable. U grabbing all of those items and the soap in front of u guys, it is so funny".

Me: "Oh! I just realized hahahaha. Yes, the miraculous soap that allowed me to know Eddy haha".

We both laughed.

Me: "I will post it right now".

Gaby: "Yes gurll".

End of the conversation

Me: "Anne, are you there temanku? (My twoset bestie) U wouldn't believe what just happened".

5 minutes later.

Anne: "Halo temanku. What? What? Tell me!".

Me: "I just met Eddy Chennnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn".

Anne: "Holy Moly, omggggg, for real?"

Me: "YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS, I'll show you".

*Sending the photo*

Anne: "OMG GURL, I AM GONNA CRY, SO HAPPY FOR YOU! Where is this?"

Me: "It is at ... supermarket".

Anne: "Omg, I can't believe it. He looks adorable and you too, and oh! U were wearing the merch haha. Did he say something about it?"

Me: "Yes, he was actually so nice; he told me that they both love what they're doing and thanked me for the supporting and everything. I asked him for a hug and he did not hesitate, he was so sweet; like we have always imagined him".

Anne: "OMG girl, post that photo right away and tag him, maybe he'll see it and will follow you, who knows?!!"

Me: "Oh, yes you are right. I am still in shook! I will do it".

Anne: "You guys look amazingggg. SO CUTE! Aww".

Me: "Thank you so much my bestie. I am glad u like the photo, I was so nervous at the moment".

Anne: "I would be nervous too if I had him close to me hahaha".

Me: "I wish u could've been there with me".

Anne: "Don't worry, my friend, ur happiness is my happiness".

Me: "Aww you are the best bestie, love you, I need to sleep now, I've classes tomorrow, bye-bye, Selamat Pagi".

Anne: "Adiós mi amiga, goodnight".

I put my pyjamas on, took my plushie, my blankets and cover myself and that's it for today.
