"Hi, y/n!" Your boyfriend greeted, waving as he held the car door open.
"Hey, handsome," you replied, instinctively going in for a hug.
You settled into the passenger seat as your boyfriend closed the car door and returned to the driver's seat.
"You look pretty."
"I'm in my literal PJs," you countered.
"Exactly. You still look amazing, even in your PJs," he complimented, his hand leaving the wheel to rest on your thigh.
"Hey, hands on the wheel," you smirked, gently moving his hand away.
"They are on the wheel, see?" Your boyfriend held his hand up, momentarily off the wheel.
"Y/bf! Stop it!" you squealed, playfully hitting his shoulder.
"What? I was just showing you," he defended, placing his hand back on your leg.
"That's dangerous!" you exclaimed, removing his hand once more.
"Why can't I put my hand on you?" he whined, pouting.
"As much as I would love it, it's not safe."
"What do you mean? You know I'm a good driver."
You had to admit, you knew he was a fantastic driver.
"Oh, alright," you sighed, allowing his hand back onto your leg.
"I love you," your boyfriend said, his tone now serious as he looked over at you.
"I love you too. Now, eyes on the road!"
