Shawn's life isn't perfect.He has a dad that's barley around.And a mom that took off again,Shawn's dad,Chet,went after his mom,Virna.So Shawn went to go stay at the Matthews for a couple days.Those days turned into weeks.And Shawn's birthday was coming up and he was hoping for a call from his dad.On the day before Shawn's birthday they had a little party for him.Mr.Turner,Mr.Feeny,Topanga,and the while Matthews were there.At midnight the phone rang.Shawn ran to the phone to awnser it.

C-hey,Shawn,I have to tell you something
S-yea,dad
C-I'm gonna spend a little extra time on the road looking for your mama
S-but dad to-
C-I'm sorry son I have to go she's leaving
S-dad but tod-
C-bye Shawn
The line went dead.Everyone was looking at him.
"So what did your dad say,did he say when he's coming back"Eric asked.
"He said that he was gonna spend a little extra time on the road.And.....he didnt even say happy birthday"said Shawn sadly.Cory went to go hug him.
"Its okay,Shawnie"Cory said.
"Do you know when he's coming back because you can't stay here forever"sated Alan.
"Seriously,you tell me that today"said shawn."wow,some birthday".Shawn ran up the stares.Mr.Turner ran out side.About the time Turner came out Shawn jumped out of the tree.Shawn started to walk away.Turner grabbed his leather jacket and pulled him back.
"Hey Hunter,where do you think your going"Turner said.Shawn gave him a glare.
"I'm running away,I'm clearly not wanted"Shawn said angrily.About that time Cory was trying to climb out the window.
"AHHHHH"Cory screamed as he fell.Turner and Shawn looked at him.
"Cor,what are you doing"Shawn said.
"Trying to figure how you climb up and down that tree"Cory said while rubbing his knees.
"Okay so Shawn you're running away"Turner said.
"What?No Shawn,you can't leave your my only friend.Please don't leave"Cory begged.
"What about,Topanga"Shawn said questioningly.
"Who?Oh yea,we had a arguement and now were not talking"Cory said glumly.
"Yea,Im running away and there's nothing nobody can do about it"Shawn said madly.He took off walking down the drive way.Turner looked at Cory who looked like he was about to cry.Turner ran down the driveway and to his motorcycle.When Shawn was near the motorcycle he started it up.Shawn screamed and took off running up the driveway.Feeny heard all the noise and hurried out side.
"What in the world is all that noise"Feeny said.Shawn was one the ground scared.When he was running he tripped over Cory's shoes.
"Shawn get up"Feeny said.Shawn got up and grabbed his duffle bag and took off walking.Turner went up to Shawn and picked him up.(like Lucas did to Maya in 'girl meets flaws')Turner carried him up to the patio.
"Hey Shawn,you know how you said you a lost soul"Turner said.
"When did he say that"Asked Cory.
"Before you fell out of the tree"Shawn said.
"Well how would you like to live with me"Turner asked.Cory and Shawn looked at eachother disbeliefingly.Then Shawn looked at Turner.And screamed 'yes'.After they told the Matthews they left to go to Turners apartment.Shawn was very happy at Turners apartment.
