I was currently sitting on the ground in a small clearing in the woods nearby our camp. I was in a meditating position until I heard rustling from the bushes. I shoot my eyes open to see several members of the tribe rush out of the bushes, trees, and from behind the trees. I jumped to my feet and turned to dodge a slash from one of them. I then retaliated with a jab to his back, followed by a leg sweep. Thinking quickly, I block two slices with my own sword. As we fought for dominance, I noticed one of the others were aiming at us. I pushed them back and kicked one in the chest, knocking him back, before grabbing the other and used him as a human shield. His aura took the brunt of the shots, before the gunman stopped. I pushed down the now unconscious man down and rushed the gunner. However, I was stopped by the other guy, as he grabbed me from behind, I saw the gunner now had two friends. Thinking quickly, I grappled the guy over my shoulder, onto the ground and hit him with a powerful punch, knocking him out. I looked up to see the three gunners open fire. I quickly drew my blade and began to block the incoming bullets, though I did get grazed by a few. I continued to block as fast as I could, until the three of them ran out of ammo, indicated by the clicking sound coming from them. I quickly rushed at them before they could reload. I hit the first one in the gut and grabbed her and used her to smack the 2nd one. The third one tried to hit me with her gun, but I grabbed it and twisted it out of her hand and grabbed one of her ammo clips. I switched clips and unloaded part of it into her, dropping her aura down before knocking her out. I saw the other two two almost up, so I unloaded the rest into them, before they to fell. I thought I was done until a circular blade nearly missed my head before circling back from where it came. I looked at its direction to see Vernal grab it.

We looked at each other before we smirked at each other. She then fired a combined laser from her weapons, to which I evaded it. I rushed at her as she did the same. She tried to stab me but I blocked with my aura as I grabbed her other blade. We were now in a standstill as she then decided to spark up a conversation.
Vernal: "You know, this reminds me of our first time."
I then pushed her to the ground as I was now on top of her, still struggling to win.
Y/n: "Now, this reminds me of our first time."
She then tried to kick me in my dick, so, naturally, I backed away. She then slashed at me a couple more times, all I either evaded or blocked with my blade, before she then tried to fire more lasers at me. I back flipped a couple of times, in order to not get blasted. She then fired a combined blast at me, so I blocked with my blade. Once the beam made contact with my blade, the beam split off into multiple directions. She continued to put pressure on me as I noticed the beam reflected off my blade. Quickly moving, I twisted my blade, reflecting the beam back at Vernal. She evaded the initial blast, but not the following explosion. As she flew towards me, I jumped at her, grabbed her in the air, twisted, and slammed her onto the ground. She tried to reach for her weapons, but they were just out of her reach. Knowing she couldn't win, she gave up. I got off her and gave her a hand up. She tried to trip me up, but she's the one who ended up on her ass.
