We held our cheaply bought burgers and stared at the money we had left. It tasted terrible but we wolfed it down anyway in hunger. This fool gave us £50 by accident. We also bought water and a clean bandage for Noah.
"Your really amazing, you know?" He laughed. My cheeks turned beetroot red and I laughed at his comment. We stared at each others eyes for what felt like too long. I broke the glance awkwardly by looking away.
"Erm yeah thank you" I laughed
"So why, were you running away?"
"What do you mean?" I asked I knew very well what he meant but I shouldn't tell him.
"Are you joking you were alone on a dangerous road and you took a stranger in" he retorted.
"Shut up I only took you in out of pity" I shouted. My face turned red and I clenched my fists.
"Hey, hey calm down I was just curious I'm sorry"
"It's fine" I answered not looking at him.
There was an awkward silence in the air. Until he spoke again.
"I'll tell you what happened to me" noah answered.
##FLASHBACK (Noah pov) ##
I continued to sprint as fast I could beads of sweat formed on my head. My heart felt like it was going to beat out of my chest. If only I had hadn't stole all that money from Old Ron for my poor family. His henchmen were chasing me BANG BANG two bullets were shot but missed. I found a dark alleway and got a way. Panting I held my knees and tried to calm down. What I didnt exspect was the the bullet shot at me I lay down and screamed in pain. They thought I was dead but I got away and thats when i met the beautiful girl with purple hair.
