They went back to school a couple of days after New Years and Selena noticed that Quirrell was still staring at her and would switch from her to Harry after a few minutes. He had been doing this for the entire time The G twins had been back. Selena leaned over to Fred and whispered into his ear. "Fred, have you noticed that Professor Q's been staring from me to Harry for the entire year." I have, hold on I've got an idea." he responded before leaning over my head to whisper to George.
The three followed professor Q outside, Fred clearing their footprints as they went, and hid behind a tree to make the snowballs. They cast a mumbled spell and snowballs formed at their feet. Selena stifled a gasp before moving her wand and casting a whispered spell.

The snowballs flew up and repeatedly hit him on the back of his turban, even after she put her wand away they followed him. They twins muttered the same spell and more snowballs attacked the unsuspecting professor. She ducked out of sight as McGonagall came over. The twins weren't as lucky and didn't see her until it was too late, despite her attempts to show them without revealing herself. "Misters Weasley and Weasley, what exactly are you doing with those snowballs?" they started stuttering about getting ready for a snowball fight when she noticed Selena. Ms Granger, you should put on another layer before you catch a cold." she said to her before turning around and leaving as Selena was wearing this.

"I'm not cold," she whispered to McGonagall's retreating back. "Professor McGonagall, I have a question." She said as she ran to catch up with McGonagall who had stopped for her. I was wondering if you could teach how to become an Animagus." she said. "Ms Granger, you know that this is a very long and dangerous process, right?" "Yes, professor, I wanted to become one after your demonstration, and after reading about them since they intrigue me," she said earnestly. Very well Ms Granger, keep studying, we can start the process next year, just in case the next storm is over the summer this year." Selena's hair turned purple as she hugged her.
They continued to pull pranks on Quirrell but he never stopped the staring.
Selena stood up suddenly one Friday afternoon in the Great Hall because she had forgotten about meeting the rest of the 'Golden Quartet', as the other students called them, in the library. "37 seconds, " she whispered to Harry before she sat opposite of him. He looked confused until he noticed Hermione with a stack of books. She grabbed one from the stack and opened it. "How late was she?" Hermione asks sitting down. "37 seconds," Harry responds, getting a nod of annoyance from Hermione. "She's punctual." Selena begins reading and is so intrigued that she has to be shaken twenty minutes later before she can hear Harry telling her she has to leave for Quidditch.
