Jake's POV
"Are you sure Louis told us to meet him here?" Barclay asked me as we head to the coffee shop down the street from our hotel. "Yes I'm sure" I say "here's the text if you don't believe me" I say handing him my black Motarol. "What do you think its about?" James asked looking over Barclay's shoulder to read the text. "I don't know but it must be important if he wants to see us right away."
"Yeah your right" Reece said entering the conversation. . "Maybe something about the bands new album" Casey said chiming into the conversation. "You think? I mean we just released our debut album about a week ago." Chris stated. "That's the life of a star Chris, welcome to the boyband life." Chris smiled his signature smile and rolled his eyes at Casey. "You smile because you know its true."
"No I smile because your a imbecile" Chris said in between laughs. "Whatever, your just saying that because your jealous of me." Soon enough all of the boys including myself busted into a fit of laughter. "Good one Casey" I say to him "good one." He looked over at me and farrowed his eyebrow "hey Jake, shut up."
I rolled my eyes at him as he went over and tried to mess up my hair. "Whoa not the hair" I say putting my arm up to protect the top of my head. "Will both of you quit messing around we're here." Tom snapped at the both of us. "Okay daddy" Casey joked. "Well if that means im the mature one then yes." Tom smiled while leaning his arm against Casey's shoulder.
"Whatever" Casey said pulling his shoulder away from Tom's reach. "Tina's Cafe" Charlie read with his eyebrows farrowing. "Why does he want us to meet him here again?" Charlie asked giving the coffee shop a weird look. "He wants to talk to us Charlie" Reece said with a sigh. "Were you not listening when Jake told us?" Barclay asked placing a hand on his shoulder and looking at him. "Nope" I couldn't help but give Charlie a look like "are you serious." He just shrugged his shoulder and gave me a sympathetic look.
I shrugged my shoulders which meant for me "whatever". " Let's go in then shall we" Chris said opening the door for all of us. Reece was the first to go in followed by James, Barclay, Tom, Charlie, and Casey, I being the 2nd to the last since Chris was holding the door.
Chris's POV
I was about to shut the door before I heard a girl running. "Oh I'm so late!" She said with worry. She had long wavy plum color hair and honey colored eyes that shined brightly when the sun hit them through her big glasses. She had a red and black plaid skirt on with a white blouse and a black and white bow tie.
She was carrying a textbook that she held close to her chest as her back pack sagged down probably because of to much stuff. She was going really fast to before she tripped and dropped her stuff. I quickly let the door go and ran towards her.
She sat up grabbing her glasses from the ground and placing them on. She didn't notice me till I stuck my hand out to help her up. She looked a little frightened when she seen me extending my hand out. She slowly reached for my hand and took it as I helped her up. "You alright?" I asked her. "Y...y...yeah I'm fine" she said in the tone of a whisper.
I grabbed her book from the smooth cement floor and handed it to her. I handed it over to her as she carefully took it from my hand and brought it close to her. I then grabbed her bookbag and I was right it was pretty heavy. She was going to take it before I put it over my shoulder.
She gave me a questioning look as I gave her a smile. "I got it" I say to her. "Its fine I can carry it" she insisted trying to grab it. I lightly take her hand and lower it. "I insist" I say with a smile. "Who put you up to this?" She asked taking her book in one arm and placing her other free hand on her hip. "Uh no one put me up to this." I responded back confused.
"It was Trevor wasn't it, how much did he pay you to mess with me?" She asked with her jaw clenched as her eyes said another thing, as if she was about to cry. "Listen I don't know who Trevor is and no one put me up to this." I say to her. "Promise?"
"I promise" I say to her. She smiles at me and apologizes for accusing me. "So where you headed?" I asked her. "To my school about two streets down and you really don't have to carry my bag, I got it."
"I got it don't worry" I say with a reasurring smile. "I don't even know you, why are you doing this?" She asked me. "I guess I just like helping people out." She smiles at me "well Mr. I love helping people out, I still don't know your name."
"I'm Chris" I say smiling amusingly. "And you are?" I ask her. "Zoey, Zoey Coleman" she says with a smile. As we begin to start walking over to her school.

"So you live with seven other guys in one household?" She asked in shock. "In an hotel actually see were in a band so we travel around a lot." She stops walking and looks up at me. "Whoa whoa in a band with eight members, doesn't that sound like a bit to much people?"
"At first we all thought that, but then we got closer and then thought, hey why not." She shook her head "Oh and how did this happen? "
"X Factor, we actually all audition as solo artist but didn't make the cut so we were placed into the band."
"What's your bands name?" She asked me "Stereo Kicks." I replied back to her. "Stereo Kicks? Why that name?"
"It just seem to fit, that and the fact the boys refused my name for the band. "
"What was it, I doubt it can be that bad."
"They said I was a toddler because I thought the name was clever." I say to her. "Oh come on I doubt it can be that horrible and if it is I promise I won't laugh. " she said to me with a toothy smile. "OK.." I sigh "Walking on Pavement."
She covered her mouth with one of her hands as her eyes began to squint. "You're laughing at me." I say through laughs. "A - am not" she said before she began to laugh her head off. "You promised you wouldn't laugh." I said pretending to be hurt.
"That was before I heard the name." She giggled. "it's not that bad." I said to her.
"Your right, it's terrible. " she said as she stopped. "Well this is my stop, thanks for helping me....Chris." I smiled at her "No problem. " she smiled brightly at me as I handed her, her bookbag and she walked away. I turned to walk away before I decided to turn back. "Zoey hold up" she turned around. "Yeah Chris? " I quickly took out a pen that was in my pocket. "Do you have a piece of paper?" I asked. "Uh yeah in my bookbag." She opened her bookbag and handed me her notebook that was completely empty.
"Why do you need a piece of paper" She asked me as I wrote my number down. "to give you my number." I said as I gave her back her notebook. She looked at in confusion.
"In case you want to talk" she smiled at me. "Yeah I'd love too..bye Chris. " she said. "See ya" I say to her as she walked into her school.
