"Pick up the pace you pile of rocks!" The girl screamed at me, scratches all over her shining face. She holds my arm tightly, walking away from the destruction the men brought to our city. She dodges rubble swiftly, dragging me along with her. My leg screams with pain, blood staining the cloth of my pants. I want to collapse straight onto the ground, but the girl keeps dragging me. We approach 2 standing buildings, we stop in the gap between them. I fall to the ground with a large thump, the girl has a concerned expression written all over her face. My eyes fill with dirt and sweat, making my surroundings all blurry and unfocused. "Lemme see the wounds." the girl demanded. " I roll up my damp pants, revealing the huge cut on my leg. She pulls out a steel stick, detailed to perfection. I have a confused expression on my face, not sure of what the object is. The girl grins, revealing her white teeth. "Welcome to the world of the Everlights my friend."
