        Oliver was on his way passing by the area when he spotted a pink haired bunny eared boy sitting by the lake 'I should go talk to him he thought and walked over to Colten.

        "Whatcha doing here Oliver?" Colten said, glancing at the boy who was walking his way. He turned to face Ollie and patted the ground next to him as in a come sit way.

       Oliver shrugged, sat down in the sand next to Colten and said "I had a free period so I thought that I would come down in this general direction and visit Hagrid since I believe he has no classes currently. I need a bunch of help figuring out some of the stuff he assigned on creatures I've never heard about." he explained,
         "How about you? Last time I checked, don't you have Potions right now?" He asked. "Olive was complaining to me a couple days ago..." he said and looked at him.

        "I mean yeah I have potions but that doesn't mean I can't skip them." he said. "I didn't feel like listening to Snape drawling on and on about potions and wasting my energy by just sitting there." He said back to Oliver as an answer to his question.

        Oliver shrugged and glanced back looking over the Black Lake. "Well I'm here so what do we want to do or talk about?..." he asked Colten "Anything you wanna know or something?" He said looking back at him.

        "Uhm- Well there is something actually... I mean I've been wanting to ask you this for a couple weeks..." he said, beginning to get a bit nervous. "I mean forgive me if I'm wrong but... Do you like me in a way more than friends?"

        Oliver started blushing as he was totally not prepared to be bluntly asked such a question. "I-I mean yes I do have feelings for you-" he said looking at Colten, "W-Why are you asking me this?" He questioned the other boy.

        Colten looked at the other boy and said, "Look man don't get me wrong, It's not like I don't have some feelings like that for you, but I like us more as friends then as whatever else." He said awkwardly. "I mean I've just been wondering because you haven't been, I guess careful would be the word, with how you are showing your feelings Ollie.
        "I mean I can tell when you are looking at me, whether that's in the great hall, classes or even just when we are in a group together hanging out with our friends." He explained to him. "I thought it also was a big giveaway to kinda all our friends the stuff that happened in your common room when Olive made a joke and stuff." He finished and looked at Oliver with sorry written on his face.

        "So based on this conversation I'm getting the assumption that you are basically rejecting me aren't you." He said to Colten and looked away to the other side of the lake

        "No no!" He exclaimed desperately "I just- UHG" he shouted being frustrated with himself. "I mean it's not like I just don't want to become something more in the future it's just I don't really think it is a good time."

          Oliver looked at the boy sitting next to him and managed to get a small smile to appear across his face. "That's understandable, " he said to Colten then leaned in towards him lightly kissing his cheek. Before Colten could respond and do anything Oliver stood up, took one last glance at the shocked boy sitting by the lake then turned walking in the direction of the castle. "Kiss me again when you think we are ready, bunny boy..." he said as he walked off.
