It has been a month since the Quantum brothers have befriended Nightmare. They had never expected Nightmare to excel in training, but he did. Nightmare knew the self defense maneuvers almost like second nature. He could lift up Paper Crane and Papy in his arms for fifteen minutes before struggling and putting them down after thirty minutes.

Tk did as Chronos had advised and told Nightmare that his brothers, including Papy and Paper Crane, that they could open portals to another place called the De-void. Tk and his little brothers showed that they were capable of teleporting. This led to Nightmare being more curious and Tk explaining the Multiverse and other AUs, with Chronos's permission of course.

It was very stormy out. Paper Crane and Papy were in their room, playing with their dolls. Tk was with Chronos in the shop as he prepared to open his shop again. Chronos put more outfits on display while Tk watched the rain slide down their window. The sound of thunder and lightning flashing made him worry.

"I hope Nightmare and Dream are okay," Tk said out loud.

"You told Nightmare that he could come to us if he ever needs anything," Chronos said as he finished setting up. "He'll come if they need anything. I'm going to get Papy to start on supper. Is there anything you want to eat?"

"Cheddar broccoli soup please?" Tk asked. "With garlic bread?"

"Alright," Chronos said. "It was time to teach Papy something new anyway."

Chronos walked back into their house, leaving Tk to watch it rain heavily. He couldn't help but worry for the twins. This weather looks really bad and Chronos predicted it. Nightmare even saw it coming, knowing that he had to make sure Dream was okay. Nightmare had told them that Dream was afraid of lightning and thunder.

Tk was lost deep in thought, unaware of the passing of time. Just when he decided to see what Paper Crane was doing, there was frantic pounding on the shop door. Hearing the urgency, Tk quickly went over and opened. Once he did, he was met with a very shocking and worrying sight. There, Nightmare stood, drenched with a Dream laying limply in his arms.

"I-I didn't know where else to go," Nightmare said quickly. "He was fine last night. Nothing l-looked wrong."

"Get in," Tk said as he opened the door wider for Nightmare. "We'll help Dream. Just stay calm."

Nightmare quickly entered the shop, Tk locking the door again before leading Nightmare through the shop into his house. There, he was Papy at the stove with Chronos watching from the counter. Paper Crane was setting the table for them to eat, neatly placing the plates and silverware.

"Chro, we have a problem," Tk called.

Chronos turned to Tk and saw the twins. He frowned before getting up from his seat to examine Dream. Chronos lightly placed his hand on Dream's skull before quickly pulling away. Chronos seemed to be thinking for a second before sighing.

"Tk, I need you to get me a bowl of cold water," Chronos instructed, shocking Nightmare with the static behind his voice. "Papy, you can let the soup simmer. I need you to make me Golden flower tea. Nightmare, come with me."

Nightmare hesitates before following Chronos in another room. This room had a lot of dolls on every side. There was a small table with matching chairs that had art supplies and paper, used and unused scattered on it. There were four drawers that lined the wall. There was a nightstand with a lamp on it.

Chronos went to the closet near the drawers and pulled out a simple blue towel. Then he went to the bead and moved some of the bears and dolls over before laying the towel on the bed. Then he motioned for Nightmare to place Dream down. Nightmare followed the unspoken instructions and laid his brother on the towel. He saw that his brother's breathing was becoming very labored.
