The Otter Sin of Curiosity

Chapter 4

After a while, we found King in the forest, "Come on you big baby and come down from there!" I shouted up at him, he slowly floats down, "Do you think Diane thought I ran away from her?" His voice was muffled in the pillow, "I dunno, why don't you go ask her?" I shrugged, "ARE YOU CRAZY! I couldn't do that!" He blushes like crazy, I laughed, I went back to the tavern while King kept sulking, "Wow..." I found myself in a field of roses, "Hey Ban! Look!" I turned my head around, he had his hands in his pockets, "It's not like you to be standing around aloof," He puts his head on top of mine and wraps his arms around me, he quickly bends down and picks a flower, placing it into the ribbon of my ponytail, "Perfect," He smirks, "Oh my, what kind are they?" Elizabeth comes running over with Meliodas, Ban huffed, "They ruined our moment," I heard him mutter, I giggled, "We always have our moments," I pet his arm, Diane came over as well, "Who cares about what kind they are, they're all just flowers, you can eat these things all day but they won't fill you up," Hawk puffs some air and all the petals fly high into the air, "Pretty," Diane looks around, they began swirling around us, "Hey you guys, be careful!" We turned around and we saw the two kids from before, "Huh?" I shielded my eyes from the sudden gush of wind, we all grouped together and when the petals dispersed, we were somewhere else, filled with bright green gems and crystals, "No doubt about it, we're in the Necropolis," I saw King fly down to us, "King?! When did you get here?" Diane asks, he blushes, "Well, you see, when I saw that you were in danger, I came flying in, and well... I mean all of you!" He says quickly and his face bright red, I grinned, you're not kidding anyone King, anyone but her. 

We were making our way along the Necropolis, "What do we do? How do we even get back home?" I looked around as we walked along the crystals, "Well to begin with, we got here by someone's strong memories," King touched his chin, "Maybe it was my will to see my mother?" Elizabeth says, "Maybe it was all the uneaten scraps in my previous life," Hawk adds in, "Or, it could be because someone in this group was in a state of near-death," King says, Ban and he look at me, "Hey, who are you looking at? I'm fine, I swear," I hold my hands out, Ban lifts the corner of my shirt and his eyes widen, "Hey I said I was fine 'kay, nothing to worry about," I snatch the fabric back and turn away, "But I swore I healed you," King says, "What's going on Lady Yuki?" Elizabeth asked, "Nothing, really, it's nothing to worry about Elizabeth," I masked my pain with a smile, "I know you aren't really smiling, now let me see it again," Ban towers over me, I furrowed my eyebrows, "Blood poisoning," He swipes his finger along one of the wounds and licked the blood, "But how?" Diane asks, "It had to be the kid who skewered you with that pitchfork, it probably had some dirt or rust on it, got into my otter's bloodstream, it's carrying toxins all throughout her body," Ban glares at the five holes, "That's awful!" Elizabeth gasped, "You don't say," Ban muttered under his breath, "Can't you heal it King?" Captain asks, he nodded, "Just give me a while, half an hour maybe? I need to purify all her blood," King says, he got me to lay down and he began reciting a healing spell, "Thank you King," I shut my eyes. We were almost done, "You done get Buddy?" Ban leans over, "Just shut your mouth and I'll get it done faster," His eyebrow twitches, BOOM! We all flinched, I sat up, "Lay back down, I'm almost done," King held his arms out still, I saw the Captain and Diane stand in protection, "Hello Meliodas the Dragon Sin, how do you do Diane the Serpent Sin? Good day to you Ban the Fox Sin and King the Grizzly Sin. I hope you're feeling better Yuki the Otter Sin, my name is Guila, a holy knight," She places a hand to her heart, "Wait how did she get here?" Hawk looks at her, "Simple, my dying," She says matter of factly, "Um, did she just say by dying?" Hawk looks at Meliodas, "She sure did," Captain nodded, "Then that means this lady is probably bad news isn't she?" Hawk trembles, "I'm afraid so," Captain gets ready for battle, she unsheaths her rapier, Hawk, Elizabeth and I tumble away at the sudden air burst, "Damn, I was so close," King clentched his fist, "Hawk, get Elizabeth as far away from here as possible," Captain says, "Will do! Hey Elizabeth, piggyback," Hawk turns to her, she gives a weak nod and gets on Hawk, "Try to stay safe!" She says as they run away, I held on my abdomen, "I was on the last part," King flies over, Guila just points her rapier in our direction and blasts us away, "AGH!" I felt myself crash into a crystal, "Owie," I rubbed my head and jumped out, I stumbled on my feet, "Not 100% yet huh?" I said to myself, "Yuki the Otter sin, I've heard of your amazing magical abilities, I was wanting to see it in action, shame, I'm disappointed," She walks up to me, "YUKI!" I heard Ban's voice, "Then lets see how you like this!" I clasped my hands together and shot my pointer fingers at her, she was encased in a water bubble, "Water prison," I held the handsign, she blasted her way out with her rapier, the sheer force of her breaking free made the air fly my way, I held onto a crystal for dear life, "Idiot, get back to King, he's almost done healing you," I saw Ban use his nunchucks to counter her rapier, "And then there's the legendary Fox sin of Greed, Ban. I must say your might does indeed live up to the stories I've heard," They jump back away from each other, "Snatch," He holds his hand out, Guila struggles as she tries to keep a grip on her rapier, Ban was using his ability Snatch to try and get her rapier, which is what seems to be creating all the explosions, "Come now, both of you, I did kill myself to get here," She holds her hand out. I struggled to stand up, "It's Ban the Fox sin, would you kindly let go of my rapier?" She looks at him, "Ban!" Captain, Diane and King ran up to us, "Hey I take offence at that lady, I'm not touching anything of yours, besides, it was because of you my otter's in pain again," He pulls his middle finger towards him and the pull got stronger, she now uses two hands to try and keep hold of her rapier, "Now I see, this is your ability, Snatch. Very well then I'll give you something more for a sneaky thief like yourself," She creates a fireball and targets it towards me, my eyes widen, I was still shaky on my legs, "YUKI!" I heard Diane cry out, I shut my eye tight, at the last minute I felt someone fall on top of me and craddle me under them, "I had heard you're indestructable, but that should keep even you out of the battle for a while," I opened my eyes and I saw Ban all bloody on top of me.
