"how?" asks Scarlet with a puzzled look.
"That fury made a bargain deal with Tisiphone" says Samantha while looking down at the dancing flames of the fire.
"The deal was easy, she had to send two humans in the Tartarus every year for eternity in order to fill the space she belonged to. An exchange for her freedom. " says Samantha with a tone of despair.
" The only thing that troubles me is why would Tisiphone make a deal with Norma where there is no benefit to the her whatsoever? " says Audrey while looking at Samantha and Aides.
" We will never find out at the rate of which we are proceeding with the situation regardless, what's the stat Landon?" says a guy of 6 feet 5 inches tall, in his thirties with short military hair, hazel eyes, squared jaw and a massive scar on his right arm.
"Negative on all fronts Joey" says Landon with tone of disappointment.
Joey looks at all of the people present there and then he sees scarlet who seems a little terrified and tensed because of him.
" Don't worry kid, I don't bite." says Joey in a soft yet controlled tone.
" Oh right! Joey, this is Scarlet and Scarlet, this is Joey. He is the first human victim of Norma" says Samantha.
"I am sorry, you guys had to go from all this because of my grandma!" says Scarlet with sadness
" Grandma?!" exclaims Joey.
" yeah, Norma has taken the body of a 70 year old lady who was scarlet's grandma" says Aides.
Joey's face and body gets tense.
"Did the team ninja reported back?" asks Audrey.
" yes! They saw lurkers near the intersection " says Joey.
" Despise them! ugh when will this end." sighs Audrey.
" what year are we in kid? " asks Joey.
"2017" says Scarlet.
" There is going to be one more person this year." says Landon while looking at Joey.
"We never got to ask Scarlet, how did you end up here? " asks Audrey.
" umm.. I was at Grandma's house we were going through some of her journal. My grandma was about to tell me something about this one called The Tartarus and then there was someone at the door, she went to get that ........ I read the Journal, there was names written with years on it . and a sentence in the end which when I read loudly...The next thing happened was me being here." says Scarlet gasping after saying all that in one breath.
" Journal? that is something new!" says Joey.
" Do you remember what was the sentence written on that, kid?!" asks Landon.
" It meant take me to hell. It was a Greek sentence. umm.." says Scarlet trying to remember the greek words .
" Did it start with something páre ?" asks Aides with curiousity.
" Yes!!! it was umm páre......... me stin kólasi !!!!" says Scarlet almost jumping of her seat.
Joey , Aides, Landon, Audrey and Samantha exchanges look with each other. They look stunned.
" what's wrong ? " asks Scarlet while looking at them perplexed.
" We may know how to get out of here afterall! thanks to you kid" says Landon.
