Alright. I've got time to collect my thoughts, and I'm telling you: I'd much rather stay home. Yeah, at least Liz is here, so that's one out of three bases covered. Not likely that I'll have a 'decent' life here, and it sure as hell doesn't look comfortable. What's the point of this place? Is it supposed to protect us? Or to protect the rest? Alas, I am but a speck of dust pushed around by the winds of change. I'm a plebeian pushed around by those that understand and feign ignorance. I'm just another face in the crowd. Wait, I already used that earlier. Ah, screw it.

So, I walked around, taking a little look-see at my surroundings. A mere fifty people residing in this huge factory, and living space was copious. Not too bad, I guess. Most of the fellow 'players' that I was introduced too seemed normal enough. For now, anyways. As I walked down the long corridor, I noticed a small difference in this place. Little cracks where it seemed fingers had tried to pry through. Creepy. That wasn't the only anomaly, of course. There was also the strange moaning from two floors up, but Liz advised me not to go up there. Guess she's boss, then. Happy not to.

Mick also told me a few things. A sort of code of conduct. "Us here, we're pacifists. If we ever get one of them, already taken over by the teensy little spirits, well, we euthanize them. No chance of them being taken back. So, here's a baseline. Don't kill anyone, and don't leave the Facility. Just two rules. Ya gotta follow them, unless ya don't wanna live, mate. Oh, and it's two to a room. Just hunker up wherever you want, but I think your lover's already taken your stuff." He walked off grinning, probably going to do some sort of thing he would do if he had a thing to do. Wait, did I really just say that? Too late, I guess. I hopped into my little bunk, which just so happened to be next to hers. Huh. Coincidental. Not like she's in charge or anything. At this point, I'm still kind of disoriented. "My girlfriend's my boss now?" Yeah, it sounds reaaall cliché. Doesn't really matter to me, I've got a degree in being sappy! Anyways... I've gotta go now. Lunchtime. Nice day out.
