ASL x reader (Highschool AU)

Introduction

"Frick nuggets I gotta get to class!" I yell as you yoinked through the halls and bump into multiple people "Sorry. Sorry. I'm so sorry." You muttered under your breath, your name was Y/N L/N. You finally made it to class and sat down in your assigned desk, right next to your friend Amaterasu Chiyo. (this is one of my OCs btw) She rolled around on your desk "Y/NNNNNN, why are you here so eeaaarrllyyy." She groaned out and I just rolled my eyes. "Well I don't want to be late because if I am, when I walk through that door all eyes will be on me. And I'm not you attention whore." You smirked and Amaterasu just pouted at your joke. You didn't have a clue why Amaterasu was your friend in the first place you guys were total opposites, maybe she was using you but who knows. You tended to space out quite a bit from over thinking everything in sight, and you had very bad social anxiety where sometimes you can't get any words out. You weren't shy or anything you just didn't know how to talk to people is all. "Well anyways I heard that three new boys were transfering here she explained as she wiggled her eyebrows and smirked at you but you push her face away. "Sorry, not happening. You know I'm not interested in love right now." You explained as you wrote down a couple of notes but then got distracted and started drawing random doodles. "I wanna know the hottest so I can date someone!" Amaterasu semi yelled out and I just sigh, Amaterasu was the thot of the school. Your parents never really thought of her as your friend and thought she was a bad example but you stuck with her because if you didn't you were just some lonely kid again.  "You are boy crazy just like with Himiko, remember how you thought he was hitting on you but it was actually Sumire?" You chuckled and she just crossed her arms. "Well Sumire was trying to hook us up but no, he fell in love with her." She whined and then the teacher stopped the notes for an announcement "alright everyone you have probably already heard this but three boys will be joining our school and one of them will be in this class period I want you all to welcome the three in open arms." The teacher explained and I just sighed 'I bet he'll ignore me, I'm not worth anyones time.' You think as you play with your pencil. "You ok Y/N?" Amaterasu asked and you nodded your head "y-yeah I'm fine just... Thinking." You said as you continue to do notes. The classes before lunch happened quickly so now it was time for you to go to your favorite place, but you never make it because you bumped into a man while walking through the park. You usually walked around the park around lunch since Amaterasu was always hanging with Sumire at this time, when you walked you usually looked at the ground since you hated eye contact, so that's what brought you here, bumping into someones chest and your glasses fling off. "I'm terribly sorry!"
"I'm sorry!" You guys both said at the same time, you couldn't see who the man was so you grabbed your glasses and put it back on. Standing infront of you was a male with blonde hair and a scar right around his eye, he also wore a long sleeve shirt with a shortsleeve flannel. "Are you alright?" He asked as his eyes darted around your figure to see if you were hurt in anyway. "Uh yeah, I'm fine. Are you alright?" You start to sweat since you don't know this person and like I said you have social anxiety. He nodded his head "I'm Sabo by the way." He said as he reached out his hand which you grabbed and shook gently. "I'm Y/N, did you just move here? I haven't seen you around before but then again I never really go out." I said sheepishly and he grinned "Yeah, I just moved here and tomorrow I'll be going to (instert same highschool as you)." You brighten up since you were the first to meet one of the transfer brothers but decide not tell him that you were going there too. "That's interesting, want me to show you around town?" You asked but mentally cursed because if your mom found out that you were skipping school she would kill you. But again you could sacrifice Amaterasu and your phone for a week just so you could get to know Sabo. "Oh, yes please. But can we wait until you finish school today? I don't want you skipping it."He explained to you and you cursed under your breath for forgeting you had to wear school uniforms and you bowed to him. "Ok, it was nice meeting you Sabo. Please meet me back here at four." You ran back to school just in time. You smiled to yourself and thought 'I am gonna have a new friend'

I got really into one piece and I'm almost caught with it and I just can't get enough of ASL they are just so friccen adorable. Anyways I hope you enjoyed the introduction and I'll write another chapter today!
