Hello and welcome one and all! It's such a pleasure having you here to read my work, and give feedback on it. This story is one that came out of a difficult time in my own life, so some of that pain and grief flowed into this story. I hope that you like it and that you can feel the emotion and connect with the characters.
As a historian myself, I wanted to add a bit of history to this story to reflect how the past isn't always easy to run from; a lesson I learned with what I've went through personally.
