It's weeks later before you finally manage to track Jasper down, with the help of Alice.
When you find him in the forest behind the Cullen house, he's distraught. A raging battle of emotions ensues within him; he's terrified of what he's capable of; he's disgusted he even thought of harming you; he hates himself for not being strong enough to stop himself.
