The Meatball Fic

Part 1 maybe

Kaito was walking down the street one day to go to Walmart. Why was he going to Walmart? To get ingredients to make some meatballs. Kaito wanted to make his uncle Carlos's meatballs, a family recipe that he had perfected in prison.

Kaito kept walking down the street, and then he saw his crush, Maki Harukawa, just big chillin. Kaito took a breath and said "Eyyy Maki Roll whatcha doin?"
Maki looked at Kaito and said "I was just on my way to Walmart."

Kaito saw his opportunity and he took it;
"Hey Maki why don't we go to Walmart together? 👉👈 I need to get some ingredients to make meatballs" Maki blushed and said "Fine, I'll go with you."
Kaito got in his 2005 Honda Accord that I forgot to write about, and Maki got into the passenger seat, and they drove to Walmart, and Kaito somehow managed to run over Korekiyo in the process. (he lived so it's chill)

Kaito pulled into Wamlart, and he opened the door for Maki because he is a gentleman. As they walked in they saw Nagito being ushered out by Nekomaru (the security) because he pissed on the floor at the Walmart Subway.
They walked close to each other, their hands almost touching. Kaito wanted to hold her hand, but he was scared. Scared that Maki didn't share his feelings, and that she would slap his nuts off in the middle of Walmart. So he held his breath and kept walking. Little did he know, Maki was feeling the same way. In her head she thought "How could anyone fall for someone like me, who knows my secret?" They kept walking.
As Kaito got the meat for the b a l l s, he turned to Maki. "Eyyy Maki these are an old family recipe of mine, and I'm glad you're willing to help me make them. It means a lot to me."
Maki, taken aback said "I'm only doing this because I'm bored." But Maki knew she wanted this. She wanted to make meatballs with Kaito. Kaito may not  be the brightest but he can tell Maki was lying. But he didn't want to argue with her.

They both walked to the register, and the person working at the register was Kokichi! Kaito saïd "EYYY Kokichi, when did you start working here?" and Kokichi replied "Just last week, actually, I'm so happy to have gotten a job at Walmart, America's finest store." They both congratulated Kokichi and left. Kaito decided to hold all the bags, to impress Maki. It didn't work. He fucking spilled all the groceries in the parking lot. Kaito fell to his knees and screamed "NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" And started crying. Maki sighed and started helping Kaito pick up his spilled groceries. "You should've let me help you carry these. You're not impressing anyone by carrying them all." Kaito looked down, saddened, that his plan to impress Maki has failed. "I wasn't trying to impress anyone", said Kaito. He was a bad liar.

After they gathered the spilled groceries, Kaito and Maki got back into his 2005 Honda Accord and they started driving to Kaitos apartment. Kaito has never had a girl over, and Maki had never been to a guys house before. They were both extremely nervous. To break the tension, Kaito said "Eyyyy Maki let's listen to some tunes!" Kaito plugged his phone into the AUX cord and started playing not 99 Gecs, but 100 Gecs. Maki wanted to die.

They got to Kaitos apartment and this time managed to not spill the groceries. Kaito looked Maki in the eyes and said "We need to talk, Maki Roll. You're acting weird around me. Do you not like meatballs or is it... That you don't like me?"
Startled, Maki stepped back. "Don't be stupid, Kaito." "Maki, I understand if you don't like them, but I would at least appreciate your honesty."
Maki looked at the floor, sighed, and said "It's just that... I've never made meatballs with anyone before..." Surprised, Kaito said "Wait really? I wouldn't have expected that from you, Maki Roll. I understand if you don't want to-" Maki cut him off and said "No Kaito, I want to. I want to make meatballs and I'm glad that it's with you." Kaito started crying because of how touched he was, Maki was really going to make meatballs with him. "Maki we are going to make the best fucking meatballs ever, just you wait."

Maki and Kaito started making meatballs, the tension between them was high and it was fucking *intense*. Kaito turned to maki and said "I'm ready, Maki roll. Maki nodded without a word, and Kaito started stripping and he went into the sauce. He was going to turn himself into a meatball.
"Maki, I'm ready to get lost in the sauce."
"I know Kaito."
"I love you Maki."
"I love you too Kaito."
Maki put the lid on the pot and an hour later, Kaito was a meatball.
"EYYY MAKI IT WORKED, I TURNED INTO A MEATBALL"
