Water drips from the broken pipes, the smell of mould tortures her nose and the echo of her exhausted Cries bounces off the concrete walls
"How did I get here?" Peyton said with a sad tone to her voice
"HOW DID I GET HERE?!?" Peyton shouts at the top of her lungs,
Creaks from upstairs echo into the basement below
"SOMEONE GET ME THE FUCK OUT OF HERE!" Peyton says trying to fight back the tears that are cursing her eyes
the door to the basement creaks open and a large shadow figure walks in
He glides a tray of food over to her
"What the fuck am I doing here?!? Who are you? I wanna go back home!" Peyton says breaking down into tears
"If you know what's good for you, you will shup! Got it?" The man said
Peyton sits in the corner of the room trying to gather herself
The man leaves and thoughts swim through Her mind * I gotta get out of here but how there are no windows*
"This food is disgust- Suddenly the room goes dark and Peyton is lying on the ground-unconscious
(4 hours pass)
"Arg fuck my head.." Said Peyton
"I'm so thirsty, but there is nothing to drink"
Just as she said that Peyton looked at the leaky broken pipes
"It's not healthy but it's all I have"
She takes a long drink as the taste of mould washes away the dehydration, but the water won't stay down and she throws it back up
She tries to stand up but she is weak, too weak and she falls back on her butt, Peyton tries to crawl to the door but when she gets there the door swings open and hits her in the head
"Oh my god I'm so sorry it was an accident" said the shadow guy
"Who are you and what do you want" said Peyton confused
"I'm here to save you, my names Ansel Elgort but you can ask questions later, right now we gotta go"
Ansel helps Peyton get to her feet and wraps her arm around his shoulder
"We have to be careful around here, there are so many people patrolling the area"
Ansel and Peyton take a left turn into a room filled with books and desks and paper
"Come into this secret passage"said Ansel nervously
"It's really dark but okay" said Peyton
She goes into the room and follows it all the way to the end with Ansel trailing behind her
"Where is this leading to?" Peyton said curiously
"Centre of the town" said Ansel
"Climb up here Peyton"
Peyton climbs to the top and opens the latch and wooden door and climbs out
