* Jade's P.O.V *

As the car pulls up to my new school, I step out in astonishment, I can't believe my mum went here?!? "Wow this school is huge!" I say grabbing my bag, "Jade, principal Matthews is waiting ,for you outside the main building you need to meet him there before you start your classes" my dad says sitting in the drivers seat. "okay okay dad I will" I say before shutting the door, putting my bag on my back and walking through the giant gates of Greenfield High. I did as my dad told and I walked up to the front of the main building in the middle of the campus.

I reach the front of the main building, and I wait for the principal, shortly after I see a big bellied man in a waistcoat and suit pants heading towards me. "Hi, you must be the new exchange student from Canada, Jade Maddox right?" He says holding his hand out motioning me to shake it. I stretch my arm out putting my hand in his, "yes I am, Jade Maddox here in flesh, sir" I say as he shakes my hand violently. "Well welcome here to Greenfield High Miss Maddox, let me introduce you to your tour guide, Sid" he said motioning over to a boy with shoulder length hair, wearing all black with multiple necklaces, with skills and chains. "Nice to meet you my name's-" I say but he interrupts me with a low soft growl. Did he just seriously growl at me, GEEZ, there was a moment of silence, "don't worry about Sid. He knows the campus well he repeated the last grade 4 times" I herd Principal Matthews say breaking the awkwardness. "Once you two have finished taking a tour around the campus, come to my office Jade. I like to have a brief meeting with every student" he said. Then he walked off to go to his office in the main building. I turn to Sid not knowing what to do. "Ok, let make something clear. I'm not your friend and I'm not gonna be your friend ok!" I herd him hissing at me, wow this guy just doesn't give anyone a break does he. Then he finally spoke again "showing newbies around school is just my punishment for burning my desk last year", YIKES! Right then and there I made a mental note not to mess with this guy. I though of a funny comment and without realising it I mumbled it under my breath. "oh are you a pyromaniac, or something" I say laughing to myself, "I'm gonna pretend you didn't ask me that." he said coldly, shit, he herd me, "I'm too busy to show people around, so take this stupid school map and figure it out yourself, GOODLUCK!" he said sarcastically putting his thumbs up and walking away.

I look at the map he handed me, I had no idea how to read it so I just put it in my backpack and headed for Principal Matthews office in the main building.
