A/N So so sorry for the wait. I took a break from wattpad for a bit(╥﹏╥).. Anyways hope you enjoy this angsty chapter!
Your POV:
Practice had just ended and you found yourself staring at the sunset, the light illuminating your face as you softly smiled. You love volleyball. You love the rush of adrenaline and pure happiness it provides you. You felt calm until...
"Y/N" Yelled Kya. (your sister in case you forgot)
"Come over here and help me put away the net." She spoke loudly.
"Coming" You said as you frowned. Lately there has been a lot of tension growing between the two of you. You wanted to make things right, so you thought about an apology.
Your thoughts were interrupted by your sister's voice. "You know our tournament is friday right?"
"Mhm." You replied. How could I forget..? This tournament means a lot to me.
"Then why don't you put in all of your effort" She continued.
Is she serious right now..?? You thought.
"Obviously I'm trying my hardest!!! Why are you so hard on me?" You yelled.
"Your always goofing off and making stupid jokes instead of taking our team seriously." She replied and you felt anger rising throughout your body.
"Yeah? At least I'm having fun. You treat me so differently in front of the team." You said. Kya then turned away and mumbled some curse words at you. Something about that triggered you.
You ran over to her and grabbed her shoulder, forcing her to turn around as you said "Did you have something to say to me?? If you're gonna be two faced at least make one of them pretty."
"REALLY? Insulting me now? I'm your sister!!!! I'm only trying to do what best for you." She yelled.
"You mean the team.." You said, already knowing the answer.
"Yes!" She replied, exhausted.
Her words echoed throughout the gym you processed what she said. Tears started to run down your cheeks. What she said hurt you. More then she would ever care to know.
"Y/n..." She started when she noticed your tears. But she didn't have time to say anything else before you punched her.
Right in the face. (#girlboss>:))
You didn't care about getting in trouble.. You wanted to let out all your your built up anger towards her.
"WHAT THE HELL (Y/N)? I'M SORRY OKAY!!" She exclaimed and pushed you away. You tried punching her again out of rage but she was too strong and pushed you away.
"I'M SICK AND TIRED OF YOU TREATING ME LIKE GARBAGE. YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT ME" You yelled as you somehow managed to slam her larger body into the cart of vollyballs.
She stumbled backwards on the cart and fell hard. All of this noise captured the attention of the boys team, who had just ended practice in the gym nextdoor.
A few of the boys rushed in the gym and separated the two of you.
You felt even more tears roll down your cheeks when you realized that her head was bleeding. You instantly felt regret."Are you alright?"you heard a familiar voice ask and you panicked.
Kenma..? no no no... He's not going to want to be anywhere near me after he sees what I've done... I don't want to loose him..
Everyone went straight to Kya asking if she was alright. You felt sick and didn't even realize Kenma was talking to you.
"(Y/N)!"
You finally turned toward Kenma to see a worried expression on his face. You were about to say something but your team coach just rushed in.
Your coach scolded you for injuring their precious team captain. But this was all because of her. Or am a being selfish...?
Not wanting to see how your other teammates would react, you did what seemed to be the most reasonable thing to do at the time.
"I QUIT." You shouted as you threw down your bag. You were throwing away your biggest dreams and ruining many relationships. Most importantly, ruined your chances at becoming closer with Kenma.
Or so you thought.
When you got home You locked yourself in your bedroom, not being able to sleep when you got a notification on your phone.
It was from Kenma.
Was this chapter inspired by Hinata and Kageyama's fight?
Maybeeeee-Anyways if you enjoy please leave a vote!! Next chapter will be about Kenma more I promise<3
