Chapter 26

( this is basically just wrapping up what happened in the sports festival and the entire Hero sidekick training thing, I just really wanna get to the forest training camp and the Dorms. Also hinting at some shmexy pool times for the upcoming summer.)

Izuku POV

The Sports Festival ended wonderfully.

Kachan got in first, Todoroki got second and Shinsou got third.

Which means he's going to be joining 1-A!!!

Todoroki ended up using his fire in the last round when Kachan accused him of "only half assing it" and got him riled up enough, he didn't know how to control his fire that well and it expended a lot of energy so Todoroki ended up losing.

Shinsou had to use his quirk on a lot of people to get to the finales and Kachan had figured out the trigger by then and didn't talk during his battle.

Shinsou was going to fight Iida for Third place but a family emergency came up he had to leave, he told Uraraka something about his brother being in the Hospital, which is just awful.

So that's how the rankings happened.

The recommendations where a bit worrisome.

I ended up training with Nedzu in the extra large UA Gym so I could practice with my Mothra form.

That wasn't the weird part though.

Iida ended up encountering Stain, the same villain that hurt Iidas brother during the sports festival, and got saved by some third year who was training with a old retired Hero named Gran Torino.

I didn't have that much excitement but I did learn how to use throwing knives and darts with Nedzu.

He said, and I quote," It's a useful skill to be able to throw knives, it's close distance weapon that's easy to handle but being able to throw it can make it long distance as well, and learning how to throw knives gets you good at aiming which help if you bet while playing darts."

So now Shinsou's is in our class, Iida is in the hospital and I'm really good at playing darts.

And today is just a normal Saturday.

I'm at the library just casually sketching, drawing some insects and arachnids, the usual bug stuff. Listening to the Chronologic album by Caravan Palace and peacefully humming.

Ringing people in as they come, the library isn't that busy this time of year, it's usually more popular in the winter, when everyone can pick up a book and go home to their beds, or couch, get a warm drink and read to their hearts content.

But right now we're going into summer!

While on the topic, I won't be forced to wear sweater and turtle necks now!!!

Time for Shorts and T-shirts! And the communal swimming pool to open! I can't wait to whip out my new swim suits~

Normally it's a great chance for me to get Kachan all flustered when we go together, but I don't know if he'll be the same flustered mess now that we're ... dating.... ^ — ^ 💕

Maybe and can go with Uraraka and Iida? Ooh! And Shinsou!!! Maybe Todoroki? I dunno where we are on the Friendship spectrum...

Maybe I can invite the whole class!

In the summer I usually replace my after school runs with lap swimming, it's even harder with the extra wing weight so I'm usually really hungry in the summer, also normal moth instincts trying to get me all big and fat for winter. - _ -
