Y/N couldnt stand feeling like this. The sharp pains in her head, the feverish chills, and the nauseating feeling pooling in her stomach. Being sick was always her least favorite thing. Her mother and overprotective boyfriend, Finn, told her to hot in a nice shower to warm up. And she did just that.

The girl opened the glass shower door and slipped under the steamy water. She stayed in the scorching shower in an attempt to warm up her body chills until the tips of her fingers and toes were pruney. The steam from the water dripping down Y/N's goosebump ridden body was less welcoming than she expected, wishing that the steam would clear her throat and not make her nauseous. Clairo played softly, barely audible over the water falling down to the ground.

When the sickly girl stepped out the shower, a white towel wrapped tightly around her torso, she couldnt help but sway violently. In Y/N's eyes, the room was spinning and spinning and spinning. Her peripherals start to go all black and fuzzy. And soon black encapsulated her whole vision.

Finn couldnt help but worry when he heard a thud from the bathroom. He slides out of the warmth of his girlfriend's soft gray comforter and to the door on the other side of the room.

"Y/N? You okay in there, love?" No response.

So he continued "Y/n? Y/N? Y/N are you alright?" The silence blanketing over the soft gray walls of the bedroom was deafening to the curly-haired boy. He wrapped his knuckles around the door causing loud noise every time his clenched fingers hit the door.

"Baby, you're worrying me..." he pursued, his voice growing raspy, "Fine if you don't answer me I'll come in alright?"

"I said alright?" Finn's breathe gets caught in his throat. Unable to breathe, he pushes the bathroom door open to find a nightmare for all boyfriends.

His girlfriend, on the bathroom floor unconscious. He rushes over to his girlfriend's side, dropping down to his knees. He yelled downstairs for help, yet to his dismay, nobody else was home. Not caring about how the white towel had inched down the beautiful h/c girl's body and revealed almost all of the girls normally covered skin. He picks the girl up, even though he was a thin and kinda lanky guy with little muscles he still managed to pick up the girl and carry her to the bed.

Finn gently placed Y/N down on her comforter as he panicked, realizing he had no clue what else to do besides waiting for his girlfriend to wake up, He sat next to her, and waited, he waited until his shoulder was tired from being all slumped over. He waited until he wondered if you would ever even wake up. He waited until he felt pins and needles in his feet because he waited so long for her. But even with all of this, he didn't mind. He would wait forever for his girlfriend to wake up.

But when Y/N/N's fluttered open, attempting to adjust to the bright change of lighting. She let out a groan of pain, maybe from the fall or maybe from being sick. When Y/N's head finally stopped spinning and she realized what happened she a deep crimson color covered her cheeks, knowing that Finn saw her in just a towel, which wasn't the least amount of clothing he's seen her in.

"Hey, baby. You fell and passed out, I guess," Finn informed his girlfriend, his voice laced with kindness and sorrow, "How are you feeling?" Y/N just groaned in response. He knew she must be in a lot of pain.

"How about I go get you some ice for your fall and maybe some water or something like that and you put on some comfy clothes and lay down, alright?" Y/N gave a squeak in acceptance and Finn walked out of the room, closing the door behind him.

The girl trudged slowly over to her dresser drawers and pulled out an oversized yellow hoodie that belongs to her boyfriend Finn. The dark grey sweatpants she'd used to hide her body from all the people at her school stood out to her. After changing into her comfortable outfit, she laid down pulling the warm gray covers over her sickly body. She sighed, reaching over and grabbing the remote for her TV. Switching on an episode of American Horror Story.

Finn came in a few minutes later with water and some medicine in his hands. He stopped in the doorway for a few seconds, admiring how adorable she looked, bundled up in his hoodie and blankets. Placing the items in his hand onto her nightstand, he slides under the covers next to Y/N. Wrapping his arms around her waist and pulling her back against his chest.

"Please be careful, love. You scared me really bad, and I hate seeing you hurting," He said resting his head next to hers, twirling her hair between his fingers. And he was being truthful, seeing his girlfriend, the woman he vowed to protect and never let get hurt, in pain was one of the hardest things for him to go through.

"I'm alright, bubba. I think I just got dizzy and overheated from the shower. I just bumped my head a little. I promise I'll be okay. Okay?" The girl noted with sincerity laced through her soft voice.

"Promise?" He was hurting but not in the same way she was.

"I promise it's just a fever." And she was right. It's just a fever.
