(Gon's pov.)
Ruku is watching his favorite movie right now, Secret Life of Pets 2. I'm tired of watching this everyday and replaying it but it keeps Ruku occupied so I'll deal with it.
"Ruku, you want a snack?" I asked. He turned to look at me, stood up, walked over to me and hugged my leg. He's been learning so much! He's one year old and he's already talking full sentences without messing up any word!
"Mama I want animal crackers!" He said. "Alright, animal crackers it is then." I said, picked him up, sat him in his highchair, got the animal crackers and poured some on his tray for him to eat.
"Thank you Mama!" Ruku said and started eating. "Aww, you're welcome sweetie!" I said and kissed his forhead. "When his Papa coming home?" He asked. "He should be here any minute now." I said.
As soon as I said that, Killua came through the door. "I'm home!" He said and came into the kitchen. "Hey hunny, how was work?" I asked.
"It wasn't great, I'll tell you that." He said. "Papa!" Ruku said and reached his hands out for Killua. "There's my little man!" Killua said and picked him up.
Ruku was giggling like crazy. I love these moments with my family, it's so nice to see my husband and son bonding. Killua came up to me and pulled me into a kiss, I was a little shocked at first but I did kiss back.
"Work was terrible because I didn't have my gorgeous family with me." Killua said after we pulled away. "Aww, you're so sweet Killua! I know where Ruku gets it from." I said.
He just chuckled and kissed my cheek. We had a family day, going out to eat, getting dessert, watching movies, just having the best time together as a family.
