"Hey Amelia, Hilda Gard could have founded a a whole new school in the time it took you to answer that question in potions earlier." Said Sharen, the nastiest girl ever to "grace" the halls of this school. "Just ignore her." Stage whispered my best friend, Frida Scotland. "It took her longer to answer that question even though Ms. Maryann still gave her enough points to win Sea otter the Gard cup for the next decade." "True" I sighed, ready to stop talking.
"Anyway" Frida said "who are you taking to the Valintine's dance. It is less than a month away" I sighed (again)" can you please just deal with your own love life, for once." I asked (not for the first time.) "Already done" replied Frida. " Katie is going with Lincoln from second year, I am going with Andie." At this point I stopped listening and checked what class I had next, arinthmency. Then I heard Tomas's name and looked up, fast. "Wait what about Tomas?" Frida laughed at my sudden paying of attention."I knew that would get your attention, what I was saying was that when talking to Hannah earlier and she said that in study hall yesterday Sharen, Bryn and Abby where all watching Tomas and Alexander for the entire time. So Sharen will be be asking one of them out in the next week or two, so you better get a move on and ask Tomas out unless you still refuse to acknowledge your crush on him and. Oh don't give me that look, everybody knows that you like him." I had given her my most stinky of stink eyes, but unfortunately she was right. I had liked Tomas right from the first conversation I had with him. He didn't care that mostly witches took medicine, he took it, and aced it with aperant ease. "See you later." Frida said interrupting my thoughts. "I've got to go, you know that if Leaf and Conrad are together for to long somebody, more often then not, covered in pancakes." She laughed and started jogging down the hall in the opposite direction grining and waving. I turned around to wave back... Then crashed into someone hard, I turned around and then went red.
