Stepping out of the closet

Chpt.2 the beggining

Hinata had gone to sleep calm. Though he thought it felt more like the calm before a storm, oh how he wished he wasn't right.

Hinatas POV
I woke up not to the sound of an alarm but to the sound of my parents laughing downstairs. I was so happy that my dad was home after a month long business trip in America! I ran downstairs almost tripping at the last step, and I caught my father in a hug. " Shouyou, your up! How are you!" " I'm great dad! How was America?" " I'll tell you all about it when you get home from school!"

With that I got ready for school and headed out the door after eating my moms delicious breakfast. On the bike ride to school I thought about what they're reactions will be when I tell them later today. I opened the school gates and headed to the club room before I could open the door I heard everyone talking

" why is he even on the team we don't need him?" "Come on Tsukishima it's not like we can just kick him off!" "Well who said we can't, if we don't need him why should he be apart of the team? It's Hinata we're talking about he's useless!" " that may be true but we can't kick him off for no reason!"

I couldn't believe what I was hearing, they wanted to kick me off? They thought I was useless? If they don't need me I sure as hell don't need them! I busted the door open and started shouting. " what the hell is going on here your talking about kicking me off the team! Your talking behind my back when I thought you guys were my friends!" " you didn't give us much choice! Your a horrible player and it seems you don't even get how bad you are!" They we're all shouting insults and I gave them some as well, I eventually just ran off without thinking where I was even going. I skipped the whole day of school just wandering around.

Sugamomma pov
Hinata heard all of us discussing whether we were going to kick him off the team. I brought up benching him for awhile because he seems out of it during practice and I didn't want him to get hurt but the conversation changed when Tsukishima butted in about his skills and it only got worse when kageyama started as well. Hinata was extremely upset and started a screaming match with both of the first years while the rest of us stood there dumbfounded. We should have done something to stop it. It turned out that hinata didn't show up to any of his classes or afternoon practice but I had a feeling that he wouldn't show up for it anyway.

Hinatas POV
I walked home not wanting to run into anyone well I went to get my bike, I tried to think about telling my parents my sexuality rather than how much they hurt me. When I got home I knew both my parents were gonna be pissed I skipped school but what I didn't know was that they were going to be the opposite of mad. When I walked through the door I was met with sympathetic faces as they each walked up to me and hugged me. I started crying not being able to hold back the tears I didn't know I was holding in. We stood there in a warm embrace without saying a word.

Later on when supper arrived they asked me what had happened, " it's nothing serious I just got into a huge fight with my teammates after hearing them say they wanted to kick me off the team. Anyway I wanted to tell you both something." " oh what is it dear we're listening." My mother said with the most caring tone she could. " I wanted to tell you both that I'm gay and I hope you both can accept me for who I am." When I looked up to see there faces my mothers face was full of shock while upon my dads was a blank expression, but with piercing eyes that looked like they could kill me. I didn't understand what was happening...
