Chapter Two - Awkward encounter
“What?” I shouted, so my mother could hear me.
“Can you come here dear?” My mom shouted, from what it seemed to be the living room.
“Yeah?” I said while walking in the living room.
I looked at my mother.
She was sitting on the big coach.
She looked really pail and tired, more than usual.
“Are you alright mom?” I said, sitting next to her.
“Of course sweetheart” She said, putting on a light smile.
“Are you sure?” I asked raising my right eyebrow.
She nodded. “Just didn’t sleep well”
“If you say so”
She smiled. “When are you going to London?”
“In 3 days” I got up.
“Start packing your stuff then. You don’t want to forget anything with the hurry, do you?” She smiled.
“I’m on my way” I kissed my mother on her forehead and went to my bedroom.
My mother had been there for me every time that I needed, even when my father died.
She is like my angel, my idol, my goddess, my inspiration.

“Behave” My mom said while she gave me the rest of my luggage. “Don’t talk to strangers”
We were already in the airport.
I laughed.
“Mom, how old do you think I am?”
“Do you think Jack ‘the Ripper’ cared about the age of his victims?” My mom said.
“Mom, that was centuries ago” I moaned.
“You never know if there’s a new one nowadays” She smiled.
“Oh mom” I managed to say between a few laughs and stares from the people around us. “I’m going to miss you and those silly mom advices that you always give me” I said, letting some tears escape my eyes.
She opened her arms and I hugged her.
“I’m going to miss you too” She whispered in my ear.
“All the passengers to flight 501. Destiny London, England. Gate C3” Some voice says trough the airport speakers. It must be the flight attendant or the well it’s called.
I whipped my tears. “Love you”
“Love you too” My mother said before she gave me a last hug.
I toke a deep breath, grabbed my luggage and walked to the gate I was supposed to.
I gave the ticket to the ticket attendant (or what the well it’s called) and I looked back at my mother and waved at her.
A minute later I got to my seat next to the window.
“Hope you have a nice fight” The pilot finally said trough the plane inside speakers after his long and usual speech.
When the airplane took away, I looked at the window.
Obviously I was scared, it was the first time I was alone without my mom and it was the first time that I was going to be with a real friend, something that I hadn’t do in years...
I had a strange feeling that I should left my mother alone.
But I wasn’t really worried, because if something happened, we would just be a phone call away.
I closed my eyes to get some sleep, I really needed it.
# Hours Later #
Finally, I arrived to London.
I looked around me and saw a little airport bar.
Hum, really need something to eat and drink right now.
I grabbed my luggage and went to the bar I saw, sited at the balcony and ordered a hamburger menu and a coca-cola.
You can say what you want, but I already missed my over-weighted country full of McDonald’s and KFC’s already.
Some minutes later I finished my meal and looked at the airport clock saying ‘London’.
“Wow, just 10 p.m.? I thought it was already midnight or something like that”
“You’ll get used to it” A guy with deep english accent says behind me.
I jumped with the voice and I fell from the balcony chair with my face on the floor surprised.
“Ouch” I managed to say.
I feel someone helping me get up and a lot of eyes on me.
“Sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you” I heard that english accent again.
“You almost gave me a fucking heart attack!” I got up, with the help of that english stranger with a really deep accent.
“Sorry love”
Wait, did he just call me love?
A stranger just called me love...
Or he’s a playboy or a pedobear.
Either way, he looks like he wants to get laid pretty bad.
Better get lost, you ain’t getting any party from me, mister.
I looked around and saw almost half of the people in the airport looking at me.
Nice way to start Lillian.
“Look, I have to go” I said awkwardly without looking at the stranger.
I grabbed my luggage and got out of the airport as fast as I could, ignoring the shouts of that english stranger and the glares of the bodyguards behind him.
Wait, why the hell does he have bodyguards?
