Techno and Wilbur spent enough time together (ten years in fact) to get a little respect for each other. Also they both had embarrassing moments from each other over the years.
Techno had imitated the look of Tubbo's distant, out of touch step-uncle from his mother's cousin's side that was helping his family move to Brighton, while Wilbur was just a mover.
Techno brought a box to the moving truck, "So what're you gonna do when the end of the world comes?"
Wilbur was taping down boxed, "I'll still be here since it isn't coming. Tubbo's a perfectly good child."
Suddenly, Tubbo came running into the open garage where Wilbur and Techno were with excitement.
Tubbo has grown very good over the years, but did have a secret cursing habit (to which Wilbur blamed Techno for). He was a very explorative type with band-aids on his knees and elbows.
"Uncle Tek, Uncle Tek!" He exclaimed as tan to the demon. "I've caught a dragonfly!" Tubbo raised his pinched fingers to him, and there was, was in fact, a dragon fly with it's wings gently clamped.
Techno crouched down to Tubbo's level, "Very good Tubbo, remember that's the only place insects and even others belong, between your fingertips."
Wilbur rolled his eyes and stood up to where Tubbo was. "Don't listen to your grouchy uncle, kid!" He announced. "Living things are precious!"
"They're really cool too!" Tubbo giggled and accidentally let go of the dragonfly. He looked slightly disappointed, but it fluttered around him before flying off. Tubbo ran off after it as it returned to the backyard.
Wilbur nudged Techno, "See? Kid can't harm a soul."
Techno grumbled as he stuffed more boxes into the van. "You're probably hacking with your angel powers or something."
Wilbur crosses his arms with a smile, "And you don't? Don't think I forgot the time you brainwashed that girl to be a bad influence on the boy."
"These are lies! I just nudged her to be his friend, she was bad to begin with."
Silence befell them as they continued to pack and move. Techno had actually piled five boxes up to carry to the van, though it was mostly demonic power that kept it from toppling or from weighing too much.
Wilbur looked up and watched as two birds flew across his view, he finally sighed to break the silence. "Do you want to go for a pizza before next month?"
Techno stopped before he got a few more boxes. "Why a pizza?"
The angel shrugged, "I've never really had a pizza on earth. And all humans ever talk about is eating food."
Techno paused for a moment, "Why me?"
Wilbur, still looking at the skies, responded, "How else to end this year? Surely not with a small goodbye and a ZOOP outta here."
Techno knew his question was properly answered, but he feigned ignorance. "Sure, I was going to cause city wide blackouts in America that day, but I got the time."
"I didn't even mention what day."
"..."
"Techno?"
"..."
"..."
"Shut up, featherhead."
