Snow storms

Switching her phone off ,Crystal sighed. Her father had apologized again. He wasn't going to spend Christmas with her. Which led to one thing : her being home alone in this big empty house.

Weren't holidays what families supposedly valued. She missed the,now, faint memories of her whole family celebrating together. She missed the warm fuzzy feeling that came from the pit of her stomach. Happiness.

Dragging her feet across the ground she decided to make a sandwich. She went through the silent hallways and into the kitchen.

He was wandering around this new,yet familiar neighborhood, Ignorant of the current weather. He came because his father hasn't seen him in so long ,but secretly he knew he agreed to come because he missed her. He missed her long wavy brown hair. He missed her crystal blue eyes. He missed her fiery personality. A falling snowflake snapped him out of his thoughts, well more like snowflakes. Silently cursing, when he realized that he got lost while a snow storm was soon to come. He rushed to the closest house and urgently knocked.

Humming quietly, Crystal munched on her sandwich. A knock stopped her from her munching. She grabbed the nearest thing she could for protection, as her crystal eyes widened in fear. Gulping loudly she slowly made her way to the door. She opened it quickly and pointed her 'weapon' at the stranger. He looked up at her and raised his eyebrows. Looking at her hands, she noticed she was holding a plate. Blushing ,she bit her lip and cleared her throat.
"..What do you want?"
"Um well as you can see There is a storm that's coming and I've lost my way," He replied awkwardly. Nodding her head she welcomed the handsome stranger in.

'Well I guess i won't be alone after all!'
