Meanwhile, Roni was heading to school in her casual outfit- a white sweater and some black skinnyjeans - which was honestly way to hot for the winter La weather. But that was the least of her worries. Roni had went to school the other day, and had been greeted, well, unexpectedly awful. She had went to school and everhbody avoided her. Normally Nessa and Aaron were the ones hanging out with her, but Nessa wasnt there. She was probably skipping school.

Nessa skipped a lot. She always said "sometimes i just need a day to cool off". One time Roni has skipped school with her to find out what she was doing, but instantly regretted it, because Nessa just sat in the park next door and read all day. Not very Nessa-like. Roni assumed she just did it because she was with Nessa, and Nessa probably did something else when she was alone. Keeping secrets, something they would've never done years ago.

And why Aaron wasnt talking to her, was already very obvious. He still thought Roni had been cheating with him because of that stupid picture Nessa posted. Roni didnt even know why she did it. She wouldve never expected something like that from Nessa. Nessa was supposed to be her sister, her best friend. And now? She just turned on Roni! How could she? Maybe she was jelous? Maybe she also liked Aaron? Nessa couldve told Roni, she wouldve dealt with it. Maybe she wouldve even broken up with Aaron herself so they wouldnt fight (remember: sisters over misters). But no, Nessa had wanted it this way. Now she must deal with it.

Roni tried explaining it to Aaron multiple times, but he always declined her calls and left her on read. In school he would ignore her and avoid her, hang out with the "cool kids" that he had complained about to Roni for years. He didnt like them. However, now he always laughed extra hard when Roni passed them, so she would know he was having "the time of his life". Roni definetely got the message, but she knew he wasnt. She had known Aaron since elementary, and he was always there for her every day. And Roni was there for him. She knew him in and out. Aaron shouldve known that Roni wouldnt fall for it.

Roni headed to lunch. Her whole class had proceeded to pick on her through out the whole class, and the stupid teacher hadnt even noticed. She had also got a detention, because someone had passed Roni a note with some horrible stuff on it (that she didnt even get to read, which she was kind of happy about) and the teacher had thought was hers. He was, quote on quote, "very dissapointed in Roni. He had expercted more from her than to write this discusting note." What stood in it she didnt know, but she assumed it was probably about her. As soon as she entered the lunch hall everyone was staring at her and started whispering. Aaron was sitting on the table with Lucas and some other kids that Roni didnt know. Roni went to the far back table, and as she sat down, somebody pulled her chair away, and she fell onto the floor. Everybody laughed. They called her names and Roni just sat there, tryibg not to cry. She couldnt let them get to her and see her break down. She couldnt. Oh suck it up Roni, you aint a crybaby.

After school lessons Roni went to her locker and packed her stuff to go home. She Teresa, Kathreen and Emilie in the corner of the locker room (which was very empty, everyone had already left). Roni had hung out with them a lot in middle school, when Aaron and Nessa were out missing. They were quite shy and pretty nice. They couldnt possibly also be mean to Roni. They never stuck with the crowd, so she proceeded to say hi. But this time they just shot her a look and went right past her. Kathreen wispered "slut" into Ronis ear as she passed and smiled as she walked past and into the hallway. Roni couldnt hold it in anymore. She started tearing up and collapsed on the floor. Aaron had told everybody. He had told EVERYBODY. That jerk. Roni got so mad at Aaron. Or was it Nessa? Nessa had started it, after all. Roni didnt know who exactly she was angry at, maybe it was the 3 girls? She didnt know. Nevertheless, she grabbed her backpack and slammed it against the lockers. She also leaned against them and sobbed. She banged her head against the lockers again and kicked them. It felt good. Real good. Some foot steps appeared in the next Room and she wiped away her tears, grabbed her backpack and headed outside into the park. This day coudnt get any worse. She was probably having the worst day of all.
